Looks like the torch keeps getting passed each year. Alright, let's see if I can get anything new made this year. I don't have any other family members who are graduating, so I should be able to make it.
I've still got my Manjoume costume, minus a wig, but once again I'm gonna try to make Saiga for the gathering. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

I thought up a couple of things we can do at the gathering. One is that we do frisbee, where we gather in a circle and toss a frisbee around. Another idea I've have is we do our own duel tournament with prizes.

Does it have to be Friday? I would love to attend the gathering, but I happen to have school on that day D:
There's a chance that I might come as Judai/Johan/Yubel-Johan from GX, though I still have yet to decide which.
Well, Friday seems like a good day, but I'll see what I could do. My other alternative is that you take a personal day. I'll add you to the list anyway.
I have to apologize. Looking back at my post, it sounded really selfish of me.
We'll just see how it goes ^.^ if anything, I'll just be cosplaying on the other days.

oh im already working on the character themed decks im just needing to fine tune it especially with starstrike blast coming in the next couple of months

Hey everybody! Well, the gathering has come and gone and it went very well for it being my first time hosting a cosplay gathering. I'd also like to give a special thanks to Elitaslayer for helping me out. I'll be back for next year to host and you'll see that it'll be much better than before.
So I WILL have my Yugi wig done by next year and I WILL be at the shoot!

Sorry I've been gone for so long, I've been doing a lot of stuff these past few months and I've just forgotten about Fanime. But I'm back and ready to started again on preparing the gathering.
I'm not sure if my friends and I will be able to make the gathering or not since we already made plans this day for other characters, but we will try. We're all doing "Ancient Egyptian" versions of Joey (me), Bakura, and Marik. If we're unable to attend on Friday we will be in these cosplays all day on Sunday. =D Cheers!

Just wanted to let you know that I really didn't appreciate the Joey Wheeler cosplayer/gathering organizer literally HOUNDING us every 15-20 minutes in the pre-reg line to hurry up nor did I like the way he ran the gathering or how you constantly come by my artist alley table (for the past 3 years) TOUCH EVERYTHING, MAKE A MESS, THEN LEAVE.
I appreciate that you did try to delay the gathering for us but if we missed it we missed it, there was no reason to hold everyone else up and sorry if the pre-reg line did take forever I don't think any of us could've predicted it to be so long.
Personally I will not mind running the gathering next year (friday around 3pm or 4pm seems like a better time) and having it at a later time because this pre-reg problem is probably going to happen again. Though if the power didn't go out thurs it shouldn't be 3+ hours wait time because dear Ra wtf was that.

Okay, let me start off by saying I'm sorry for the way I acted. I didn't mean to keep bothering you while you were in line but I was only checking on your progress, I sorry if I was hounding you and I didn't mean to make you hurry up. The confusion and chaos of the pre-reg line made it difficult for me as well to get things under control and I felt bad if you had missed the gathering because of it, I wanted everyone to be a part of the gathering.
Anyway, this will be my last time as organizer, so you can go ahead and run the gathering next year because I'm done.
