If you didn't realize it, that is a *classic* psychology experiment/mind game. Seriously, in my intro to psych class they showed a video of a few people in a elevator  doing something similar to what you guys were doing (4 people staring at the same corner), and they observed that eventually people started to follow suit and stare at the walls because they felt social pressure to (even though there was nothing to look at).

So, because you were all looking at different corners, it wasn't clear which way people were supposed to look and therefore became uncomfortable.

I really doubt that was there intention.  I do know the study you are referring to but this obviously was not it.  If you look at the pictures, you know they were just there to creep people out.

I was looking for Kwoon at the dealer's room this year and found the Stunt People instead.  When I asked a staffer about it, he pointed towards the general direction of where they were supposed to be and told me, "they are over there."  I usually do not complain, but a staffer at the information booth, located inside the dealer's room, should know up to date information.  
 Hopefully Kwoon shows next year because I want to buy a shirt and take pictures with them.

I wandered past the Fanimaid cafe, tempted, but decided not to go since the menu was not too appealing.

I like the pics, very creepy.

That concert was the best ever and worth every penny.  Although it sucked that I bought a program guide, to get  autographs, only to find out afterwards that the gift package already included one.

Bringing your own food should not be a problem if you are planning to eat while you watch movies and anime.  You should be mindful of trash though.

I would agree except for the fact that ARC and CRC having functioning anime clubs.

Hi, I am from LUELinks and I will be there if you have a panel.

I purchased a front row ticket but I did not notice an area for promotion codes of any kind besides gift certificate redemption.  Can anyone help me with this?

Update:  It seems like the promotional code was just added today as I can now get tickets with the fanime discount.  Is there a way to retroactively apply the discount without having to buy another ticket and lose my seat?

This kicks ass!!  Are we going to need to reserve tickets or are they going to available around con time?  If we need to reserve them, is there a website available that registered fanime members can use in order to apply the discount?
