Got our offical time! Saturday at 11am, I realize this might be a tad bit early for some,  still hope this works for everyone!

Just submitted the request for the gathering! Hoping to get in on Saturday early to mid afternoon!
I also requested the same area as last years gathering, G8, with is also called "photographer alley", or the Marriott side of the con center. It seemed to fit everyone last year, and theres great areas nearby if you want to do a shoot before or after, also a great place to flag down photographers if you please to do so~

I'll keep everyone updated as I get updated!

Also if anyone has any idea where we should aim for a location that'd be great! Might be a larger gathering :o

Had such a good turn out last year, thinking it'll be even bigger this year with all the new Fate things coming out, it's very exciting. (plus I know how to run a gathering now, yaaayyy)

This Gathering Includes : Any character from the Fate universe is completely welcome! Type Moon in general is too. Hoping this year is ever larger than the last, Loved seeing such talented cosplayers!

Day : Saturday
Time : 11am

Location (L) : G8 aka "photographer's alley", Marriot side of the front of the convention center

Hello everyone!
I have a few pictures from the Disney and Fate gatherings  myself but I have to wait for my boyfriend to upload them.
I was Tinkerbell on Friday
Saber Lily Saturday, and then Tink again since my armor was malfunctioning.
And Sunday I was vampire Seras Victoria from Hellsing only until 3pm.

So location wise is it still going to be in front of the con?

For the official gathering the local isn't set yet, but I requested it for the area to the left hand side of the front of the con center (Marriott side), in that area with the trees and the concrete wall

You can make the gathering official, just not that you have an unofficial on I have to point you offsite unfortunately. I will work with you on a timeslot and a place, I promise I can work with you....

I'm not too certain on submitting it to be official, mostly because most of the time spots are filled already.
Maybe make an event on Facebook?

Location wise, there's a lot of nice outdoor spots to the right and left of the con center entrance.

Saturday at 3pm works for me! Saturday is always my day for my larger costumes. If there's a second meet up on Sunday I might be able to swing that too, just maybe without my armor.
Where would be a good meeting place?

I'm glad people are interested! At this point it looks like there are limited spots open for official gatherings, and leaving Monday as the most likely slot and I know people tend to leave earlier than not on Monday.
I am planning on wearing Saber on Saturday if anyone else is willing to meet up that day! We can do something small and unofficial even.

Hopefully I can attend! If I can I'll be wearing Tinkerbell!
I'd be willing to switch my costume lineup to go.
Unfortunately many colleges have their graduation ceremonies Fanime weekend and am missing out on some gatherings as is :P

UPDATE: I decided to go ahead and submit to make the gathering official for a main gathering, I'm more than willing to do some offsite shoots with people too,


Curious to as if anyone would be interested in a Type Moon and/or Fate gathering.

I have no experience running a gathering myself, but if some people are interested and willing to help that'd be great.
I'm planning on wearing Saber Lily from Fate/unlimited codes either Saturday or Sunday myself.
Even if just a couple people want to meet up for a couple photos that'd be great too!

Gathering made it to be official! Yay! All information has been updated above

I sadly have no pictures as a starting reference.
Though on Friday I was a military version of Yoko from Gurren Lagann
then on Saturday I was Morrigan from Darkstalkers (I was rather, um, "busty")

Can someone explain "military version of Yoko from Gurren Lagann"?

I have a bunch of Yoko pics from the con, but I have no idea what the military version is.

Maybe like a fembot version of Yoko?

Yeah that is a bit unclear. I was wearing some tactical gear, like a drop leg holster for a gun, a MOLLE belt, a multicam top and I switched the main color pallet to look like desert tan rather than the pinks and reds.

Seems to be a tiny gathering this year! Though sometimes that's kind of nice.
My boyfriend and I will more than likely be there as Seras (red or regular uniform from OVA, no sure yet) and Pip.
