Hello, I have a question for those that sell ocassionally in the artist alley and websites like Etsy

Do you include the sales you make in the artist alley and/or personal website in your taxes?
do you claim as hobby sales or income?

First time selling crafts and a little confused. I live in California. Thank you.

Call the housing number. I waited almost 20 minutes but it went thru and I got my reservation

Also, why is are there no Junior Suites available at the Marriott this year?

The hotel option is after you select to buy a badge, will there be an option to just make a hotel reservation?

My group and I are only attending from Friday to Sunday so none of us have plan to get a 4 day badge and we are not per-registering.
This of having to have a badge to reserve a hotel is completely unfair.
I understand you are trying to get people to book less hotel rooms or an order but this is not the correct way.
There is people who do not have the money to cover for this right now and as mention before by someone else even before Sunday.
last year you completely screw up with registration pick up and many of us are not happy and know you want to act like you
are doing things right but this is not right. Also, with your policy of no refunds/exchanges or transfers what about the people that can't
attend last minute? are they just going to lose $55? that's unfair. Other smaller and bigger conventions have refund or transfer policies.
Everything is very inconvenient and such a hassle that not everyone is willing to go thru.

Should we expect to show up at 5 pm Friday and have to stay until the swap meet starts at 7 pm?

Yes. If we call your number and you are not there, we will *not* save a space for you.

Once you are in your space, you can go to the bathroom and such - or have your space partner go get food - but one person needs to stay in that space. You cannot bring in more goods either, you must have all your stuff with you when you check in.


So, this means we cannot check in lets say at 6pm if we are number 20 because those were the first people to be call?

What if once we get there my number has just passed? Do I get to wait until all the other registrations have
been processed and then I can check in or I will completely lose my spot?

For how long does the masquerade ball runs until? midnight?

Sorry if this has already been asked. For the optional rehearsal time on Sunday and to drop off our background stages and props, do we have to sign up for a spot when we check in at the con or can we just show up at any time during the time frame?


Hi!, I have 2 questions:

1) If we want to change the selection of songs or the order we want to sing them, do we have to email you in advance or can it be done when we sign in at the con?

2) Also, if originally I wrote a number of persons that were going to perform and that number will now decreased, do I email you?

Are we going to have the option of selecting if we want to go in the first, middle or last group like in previous years when we sign up?

Are we allowed to bring small props with us to stage?
