Has anyone here been on the shuttles? How big are they?

From what I remember, the buses are bigger than a local public transit bus.

Now that I think about it, I found it strange that I (and everyone else) could walk upstairs easily, because there were no badge checkpoints for the main area.

I hope this new plan works out well.

The Meet the Guests reception, while a ticketed event, has always been free. It is also more like a brunch/light lunch event, not a dinner.

I got my Ramada room around 6:30am yesterday. But a friend of mine tried to book his room today and got crashed out. He's now on a wailist.

Just a hunch, but I kind of feel like Fanime shoved too many people into one time slot, at 12pm today. Juuuust a teeny tiny hunch. Just a little one.

That reminds me of what I thought earlier today. Fanime may have indeed let too many people into booking slot times.

I swear, sometimes Fanime staffers try something new, but something goes wrong for a lot of attendees.

The musician and entertainer has recently passed away from cancer. I imagine he is visiting Freddie Mercury on the other side right now.

In general, I enjoy my stays at the Ramada.

It's very useful if you want a fridge and a microwave (they both work pretty well).

A room there is smaller than one at the Fairmont, Hilton or Marriott.

Free breakfast in a room by the lobby is a plus :)

Walls could be thicker though. Also, the toilet is small (I'm a dude, and when I need to go #2, I like to sit comfortably XD)

Okay, seriously:

1. Take some cosplay photos, and try something a little different from my current technique
2. Try actually cosplaying (I say this all the time but never get around to it XD)
3. Try an event I've never tried before (Black and White Ball perhaps?)
4. Stay up through the entire Midnight Madness marathon
5. Try something new and out of my comfort zone
6. Give something else another chance

My guess would be that those con organizers would rather use FaceBook than pay for a dedicated forum. I dunno.

As for the Fanime forums, I'm thankful that they are still around. I hope they stay around.
