How do I e-mail them? I've looked for an e-mail address and I can't find one. Or do I pm the moderators, that's different though.

So today I was shopping at Walmart and lost my wallet. I don't know what happened, but I walked in with it- and I did not walk out with it. Of that I am sure. (I made a withdrawal inside and when I went to pay at the end it was gone.) So tomorrow morning (Thursday, May 20th) I am going to the DMV to get a temporary state ID. I'm pretty sure this is only a piece of paper describing how I look and doesn't have a picture. It is a legal ID recognized by the state of California and even cops ok the ID. Am I not going to be able to pick up my badge just because it doesn't have a photo of me?

Note: I do not also have a student ID, it was in the wallet. I can bring anything else you want though. The only problem here is that it is NOT a Photo ID.

Will this be a problem?

Hey, how early can you come to pick up your badge on Thursday? And are only pre-reg people able to pick up Thursday?

The only comment I have is to make sure we don't schedule MusicFest and the Black and White ball on the same night. The audatorium for An Cafe would have been full if not for that. You (staff) already know that though and everyone could tell they (AnCafe) were sad it wasn't full. So although I'm pretty sure you all know this, just reminding you for the sake of the bands.

An Cafe was amazing by the way. Thanks a million for getting them. I hope we get someone good this year too.  :D

Counter-programming is important to us so that we give everyone at the convention a chance to do something that they are interested in. Not all 15,000 people can be inside the Civic nor at the Ball or Dance.

I understand that too. It is important that you don't have thousands of con goers bored out of their mind. I just hope the bands don't suffer because of it. I'm not as dramatic as some of the other fans; but there are some that are worried that big-ass bands won't come back because they feel under appreciated. Mostly of course I'm talking about AnCafe fans who were concerned that the only US destination on their world tour seemed to be kind of bum (attendance wise.) Nowit's obvious that they're being dramatic, but they do have a valid concern. So if we are getting any major bands I really hope that the same thing doesn't happen to them.

On another note... I will never understand why the attendance was so poor (overall, not totally.. there was a line out the door and down the street!) seeing as advertisments for AnCafe seemed to be EVERYWHERE. It also does not help that I personally do not think very highy of the Black and White ball cause there really isn't very much actual ballroom dancing and WAY too many people to be comfortable. But to each their own. =)

Well seeing as it's almost April I'm pretty sure it's all too late. Man, I've got to get on the Forums sooner next year. Well if you still need any assistance I can be your girl. OR if you don't I should probably look into doing this for next year. It's better for me to be on stage since I can't get any prizes or get picked since I know the stage staff. *glares at Oniko* Lol, jk.  :P

So here my situation. I have a hotel (which is about 4 miles from the convention center) and will be stranded at the Con without a car. I am your average con-addict (stays up until 4-5 in the morning) and am deathly afraid that the ride to my room is gonna want to crash early seeing as this is her first year. I would rather die from lack of sleep than turn in early and miss the ongoings of the fanime nightlife. (aka pervy video rooms and amazing dances.)

So... what I'm looking for is not a room to crash all my stuff in or even really live in, just maybe a backup room I can walk to and be like.. "omg let me sleep... please?" And I will promptly crash on the floor (no blankets or pillows needed) to catch a few shut eyes before waking up a few hours later and leaving to start my crazy day over again.  :D

This shouldn't actually happen but is a just in case scenario. I swear to god I shower every day of the con, am over 18 (I'll be 20 by fanime), and am a trustworthy person. I'm doing this now since I want to know the people I may crash with (or at least the owner of the room) and I know people want to make sure I'm not a psyco who will steal their stuff or destroy the room. On another note; I hate drama. You will get none from me and I would rather sleep in the streets then get dragged into it. So there will be none from me.

Like I said, since I already have a room this is just a back up scenario for a room to crash in. I have very little money for something like this but I am willing to pay if you absolutely want someone to pay for a piece of floor space.

Why is it a Ouji picnic? Anyone want to explain what that is? The only Ouji I know of is with the Ouji board (as a spirit game.)

I may be coming. It depends on whether I am making a new outfit or no. I probably will at this point but am still not sure. Are BJDs welcome at this gathering?

Is this just the cosplay gatherings? Because I can not for the life of me figure out where the BJD meetup will be and I can't imagine they won't have one.

Lol! This totally reminds me of when I brought my tarot cards to school and they went missing. I discovered later that the school christian extremest had stolen them from my backpack and burned them. One more week peoples!!! Who's ready to party!?!?! I am so not ready. Like every year, I'm finishing up my cosplay at the last minute! It's not really that good, but only the prissies care. "Omg, your cloak is made out of the wrong fabric, it should totally be suade, not velvet." (Like, wtf?) Admittedly a bad costume makes you cringe, but not everyone is a professional and why should we deny the noobs a chance to dress up? I dressed up my very first year. I had to wear acrylic painted shoes. Oh my god, it was horrible! LOL!! Anyways, everybody ready?? Got your rooms ready and cosplays made? And for those who were in the dating dojo, got a place set up to meet with that super mega special awesome person you met over your pms and ims? No!?!? Well get cracking!!!! Lol!! ^,^
