Hotel stuff I believe should be dealt with the hotel. Years ago I lost a MP3 player in the room. Took the room apart looking for it but never found it. put I kept the charger for it, for it could not be used with out it. well a month later a Maid turns it in saying she found it... Really!!! It was not in the room but I have ideas on what happened..... anyway file with the hotel if in the hotel room it vanished.

 Here's a story without me in the elevator... Me and my friends went out to grab some Ice cream bars. well get got back to our room opened the box and got out some Individually wrapped bars. but it seems our eyes where bigger then our stomachs and we had a box left over. So rather then letting it melt I took it to the elevator and gave it to the first one the opened up. after a quick explaining of why its free and why just the box was opened it got taken. Hope they liked it, That stuff was the expensive kind.

Ok thats fine, the only way for it to close at 8 or 9 would be to open it later. so right now its 10 to 7, opposed to 11 to 8, or 12 to 9. Its kinda the best balance we can give the room for all. even opening at 11 we would get people asking why so late its oh most lunch time. and a plus for Fanime members is we really try to accommodate the dealers so that we can Keep them happy to come back, and to attract new ones. especially because their are 3 other cons they could hit this weekend other then Fanime, plus one in Canada. So closing at 7 would mean after some quick little covering up there booth they can still make it to a nice restaurant and relax some. I dont know about anyone else but im hungry by 8pm. So sorry if i had to turn you away saying "Its closed we open at 10 tomorrow" 

its all ways been 6 or 7. when opening at 10am. that's 9hrs the dealers have to stand and do constant business, trying to wear them out? with more then that?

Ya we always need Vols for Badge check at the door of the Dealers room. Its not to bad of a spot to be.

So anyone line up early for dealers room?

Ya i was watching some of it, and It looks like the "Greatest Otaku" gets a Trip to Japan and anime hot spots. But Everyone that could be thought of as a Great Fan has a lot of anime wares and can pay for them self's to get to Japan. This show is just look how much stuff I can buy... I would think the greatest Otaku would be a Middle class Manga drawing, Cosplay making, anime watching, Japanese game player, in to Japanese music too. .... not just some rich fan into one or two aspects of anime.

Post some info like age,types of anime you like, cosplay or not. online games you like to play. just stuff that will help others to relate to you.

Ok at Fanime the was a Video of Safety at the work place, about a guy that drives a forklift. Needless to say he dies and many other workers in the plant do too. This video was Live action. Probably 5 min long?

The red text on staff lanyards was a quick way to identify them, very useful.

I agree completely--It was SUPER easy to spot the staff just by looking at the lanyard! (even though I was about 20 feet away~)

I hope that's not a "I see a cop, act cool" kinda easy to spot. he he j/k .
but ya Great job on the red text. now i just want all under age members to have there own color badge :)  "Your 19....... RIGHT................" walks away....... uh I mean to help keeping those under age out of the wrong rooms  ;D    

Do we have a Idea of how many People we had this year?

I've been wondering this -- are they still actual protesters, or are they just trolling us? It would be a pretty elaborate thing to do to troll us, but you really have to wonder...

Ya I don't believe they are protesting Fanime or anime.  They just know there is a big crowd at the Con center, that has a lot of ears. So they are Broadcasters not Protesters. They would probably be out side doing the same thing at any 14k people event. They could even be the same group of people that have been know to show up and Yell at Christen events. "I know it sounds weird but it has happened..."  But I vote SJPD remove the blow-horn.  But it was funny when fans had there own horns and where yelling back " see I got a horn too.... Not so loud are you.."  a simple fix for next year is that we play anime music from boom boxes or such just enough to drown them out but not loud enough to disturb hotel guest. then we have cool music that oh most all Fans know and like. and I really don't think Broadcasters would like to stand there not being heard and having to lesion to music in a foreign language. 

you say fake, as in bootlegged? Fanime dose not allow bootlegs and dose sweeps though the Dealers room to find and remove such items. however some items can be missed in the search or placed later after one.  But without this being found and reported in the dealers room at the time I don't think much can be done. but next year If anyone thinks their is a bootleg for sale, report what the item is and what booth and we can look into it.

I remember a booth had them last year but right now the dealers are still setting up "as of 1pm on thurs"  so im not going to ask them right now. but im sure someone should have one or two.

Ya I think its going to be a great season 4.  Because the Creator of Heroes was not happy with two of the writers taking the show from what he thought and for the end of season two to season three's end he tried and tried to have them re-write the story to how he liked it but they kept doing it their way. so he fired them. Now the show is back in the hands of the man who made it. So I expect season One quality. If you want to know when I got that info Its in a report in TV guide.
