Wait,what?
I'm confused, how are we going to do this?
Wait until tomorrow to register. It's pretty self-explanatory. Or do you need a step-by-step tutorial?
Thanks.

1. How do I register and how much?

You can register at the con (which is the more most expensive) or you can register online when the website goes up. I have no clue what the price is but have anywhere between $45 to $50 ready.

2.is it better if i go with a group?

Yes if you go in a group you won't feel alone and the hotel will be cheaper if you all contribute to it. I have slept with from anywhere from 4 to 8 people in a room with only 2 beds. Plus you'll enjoy your experience with friends there rather than going by yourself.

3. what hotels do you recommend to stay in that's not over price?

The cheapest hotel that I have found is the Double Tree, and make sure you purchase the hotel through Fanime on their site so then it doesn't come out to regular price of the rooms. You get cheaper prices if its through Fanime.

4. Do i need to cosplay?

Cosplay is not mandatory, its completely up to you if you want to cosplay or not.

5. I am 16 do i need to have adult with me to enter?

You don't need an adult with you to enter but in order to get your badge you will need a parent or guardian unless you get the group leader to be 18 or older.

6. what should i do or not do while i'm there?

Well what I personally like to do while I am there is go to the dance that's usually in the evening though. Through the day just go check things out. If they give out the little booklets with all the events in them again then you can look through it and see what seems appealing to you. I am not going to tell you what you shouldn't do cause you're 16 you should know what's right and what's wrong.

7. is this worth it?

Yes its worth it, compared to Anime Expo in LA its the more inexpensive version of that. At Anime Expo everything cost money to get into at Fanime nothing costs money so the shows are free, the panels are free, along with the Black and White Ball, and whatever other events you wanna attend.

If you have any more questions or comments, or even like me to show you around when the con starts just message me. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Here's how I did it and still been doing it. So you pay for your badge and your room in advance and you get people to go with you at minimum 4; then your room isn't hella expensive.
If you're living with your parents then ask them that you want that to be your birthday gift; for them to pay for your Fanime.
Any money you get you save it even if it means you don't get to go out to eat with your friends, or you don't buy the new Call of Duty or whatever.
Split your money at the con. Mostly between spending money and food money.
I did real barebones last year and my room was $40, my badge was $60 (I messed up in getting preregistration), and I spent about 120 that's both food and stuff at the con. My meals would be one big meal that could sustain me at least for more than half the day. You could go into Iguanas which is like 3 blocks from Fanime and get the biggest burrito they got its like $22 but it will last you maybe 2 days. I also did activites outside of Fanime which is included in the 120. The main part for saving up and keeping that money saved is just resisting the urge to buy something unless its truly vital.
Honestly it isn't that bad seeing as I was staying at the Fairmont and all the things I got to do was really worth it. That's really the key for for budget.

Positives:
Dance was a blast!
Hentai room was great.
Events were free

Negatives:
There wasn't much to do.
The smell in some room was just unbearable, there should be some BO awareness.
Rovers at night thought everyone was on drugs or something.
People working the con didn't know anything outside the con. I asked them where I could find a Bank of America and some sort of corner store and they couldn't tell me cause they didn't know. Plus where they were at said info.

Suggestions:
More nightly activities
Helpful staff
Rovers need to take a chill pill
Febreeze or something to get the smell of must out of the air.
Do something about all the sleeping people in the hallway.
Cooler themes
