This weekend my boyfriend lost his iPhone and I lost a Hogwarts wallet with all my info in it, my wallet has personal notes I've saved from teachers and friends and theres no way for me to get them back if no one turns my wallet in. My boyfriends phone also has notes saved from when we first started dating so we both would really appreciate if anyone has info or anything.

Update! So my boyfriend has found his iPhone but my wallet is still missing. Again, it's a black wallet with the Hogwarts logo and it has my ID and my notes/ticket stubs and I'm still wanting any info on it. Thankssss

Personally I was most let down by the Masquerade and the Black and White Ball

The cosplays and the skits were all wonderful (from what I saw, I left early), but the tech and the organization was terrible. The MC came off as really unprepared, the sound kept cutting out or getting mixed up, and it was just awful. I felt really bad since they cut off a Hetalia skit and it seemed like the cosplayers had worked hard on their performance.
The Black and White Ball was a disappointment. There were a lot of double standards being enforced and a TON of people ended up not being able to get in. I wore a business type dress and it was considered too short by an inch, so I couldn't get in. I ended up switching shoes with another girl because she got inside the ball but was later kicked out when staff changed their minds about her shoes.
I feel like they put all the strict staff members in charge of the ball and everything else, like enforcing walkways, was pushed aside.

Other than that, I think this fanime was the most attended and I did have a lot of fun besides these things. I just hope next year is better.

I also wanted to know how booking a hotel with Fanime works. Is it considerably cheaper? Or would it be less of a hassle to book a room without worrying about it? I know the hotel is closer, but I'm mainly concerned about prices.

Its been a couple years since I've been to Fanime, but this wll be my first time not registering at the con. I just wanted to clarify what days I'm able to attend if I pay the $50 now instead of waiting until May, and if there are any other perks to registering early.
If it makes a difference, I'm only going to be staying for two days, depending on when Black and White Ball is (if thats even happening this year, like I said, its been awhile.)
