Going out on a huuuge limb here, but do you have any Weiss Kreuz merch?
#22
Awesome! Works better for me.

GNEE! My message!

Question! What would happen if the text had non-standard characters, like brackts, symbols, Japanese, etc?

Personally, I haven't been "wowed" by guidebook yet. So long as there's a pdf/mobile webpage guide, I'm good.

Live Programming and Events / Re: Hideo Concert

Oooh yes! Hideo was really great when I saw them in AOD a few years back.  It might have just been added to the schedule.

Quote from: Haunterluvcookies on April 23, 2012, 04:46:24 PMAlso the people you meet at this con are ten times nicer and more relaxed; defiently has a the feel of a smaller con but its not.
I'm thinking that it's a Cali thing -- only place in the freakin' country where I'm willing to step into a Walmart because people are nice.

I think the biggest difference between Fanime and most other cons is the size and location. It's about a half hour's walk from San Jose's Japantown (which is closed Mondays, other than this nice shop that sells random anime merch).

I've been to fanime more often than any other con (which is funny since I'm an East coaster) and I feel that it's a bit more... laid back?
Odd, since it's right before finals.

I think you should try it at least once. Hope that helped...?

I'm actually kind of interested in working as an operator.  My biggest concerns are getting between Fanimecon and Clockwork Academy and a steampunk outfit -- would it be required to be wearing steampunk costume?

Thanks for including me; I think dinner would be fun! How about we go get ramen? There's a resturaunt down the street from the con with good ramen (too bad they don't have curry ramen ;P).

(Next year for sure... although if it's done on Friday again I won't be able to do it. >.> Crossing my fingers.)
Sounds like an awesome plan.

Quote from: neko ewen on April 17, 2012, 04:05:13 PMUnfortunately we have a good deal more work to do before Golden Sky Stories will be ready to sell, plus I'm not sure if we're going to be set up to sell stuff at the con in the first place. I haven't decided what exactly I'll be running, and to be honest I'm not super-confident running Magical Burst, but if there's enough interest I'll be willing to give it a try.
Ah, I understand.  I'll continue following and hopefully we'll see a kickstarter for it in the near future :D I think, regardless of what you run, people will have fun~

Heyo. Just wanted to add that I'll be at FanimeCon this year along with Bliss Authority, Ben Lehman, and a few others for Cel*Style stuff. I'm still working out what exactly I'll be doing, but a preview of Golden Sky Stories is a strong possibility.
Does this mean I can buy it at the con?
Also, what's the chance of a game or two of Magical Burst? It was a hit with the students I tutor, even though I had to change the game a bit to work with less dice rolls.

Gaming / Re: Pokémon League at Fanime? Discuss.

Hmm.... Am I allowed to answer that Lycan, as one of the gym leaders?

The level cap is less than 100 though, for all gyms (that, at least, should be public knowledge)...

@lycan510: Yeah, Darkrai is a Gen4 legendary.  Have you decided when/where yet?

@JTchinoy: ....You can try. *smiles*

Dealers Room / Re: Doll Vendors?

I think they have. Or someone affiliated with them. They're a local seller so it'd make sense...

There' always at least one doll dealer, but if you're looking for too specific a dol (I.e. Mo-3 from DollZone), they probably won't have it. They carry one or two "basic" dolls for each size.

I grew up on classic reggae and still listen from time to time. Japanse reggae is also surpisingly cool.

Ah, kay! Thanks~ I would have figured it out eventually but it's good to know now. ^_^;

A lil' late to the party but...

Your first name: I'll respond to Yuu, but the name's Tiph
Age or age range(teen age, young adult): College brat
Time of arrival: Friday afternoon or evening... hoping for afternoon
Time of departure: Monday afternoon
Events you will go to: I'll be doing a bunch of meetups and I'm hosting one panel definitely (might be in a second one). Plus, I'll be participating in game shows. Trying to keep myself out of the dealer's hall.
What is your favorite anime, manga, video game, and whatever is related to the convention: Weiss Kreuz, Tiger & Bunny, uhm... yeah.
How many times have you been here: This will be year 3
What brought you to Fanime: An upperclassmen came by my dorm the third week of school and was like "come to Fanime - it's at the end of the school year!" and I was like... "uh okay...?"
One random fact: My friend an I are re-watching Yuu Yuu Hakusho. So nostalgic. And I'm probably more than a little addicted to my cellular.
Favorite Fanime memory: Uhm... Winning a figurine on Stage Zero... Because despite starting with negative points, I know a lot about old anime.
Favorite Fanime event? Or what event are you looking forward to: I'm really looking forward to meet ups!
A question you want to ask everyone on this form: First anime or manga?

One random fact? Favorite Fanime memory?
Not sure if everyone would be okay with putting their age, so maybe age bracket? Teens/Young Adult/etc?
