Well I guess this counts as a half success story in which I did match with someone and, although we don't live anywhere close enough to actually date in person, we still keep in touch online.

Cause I heard that there were a few people, male and female, that went to the speed dating event who were in relationships already.

This does ruin the whole main intent on speeddating. It's almost like giving the other person a false sense of hope, only for a possible outcome of... oh jk I was already with someone. Hope
this is not the extreme case.

yea it defeats the purpose of speeddating. Will expanding the event help though? Were there enough ladies signed up this year that there were ladies who didnt make it into the event?

enough for maybe one or two more, basically by making two each day and taking out one of the LGBT ones (since we only had about enough for one full group of each, we ended up with two half groups.)

Honestly 50% of the people who signed up and got in didn't show up at all for the event.

in regards to the not enough LGBT participants, i think that may be related to the fact that not enough people knew about it. i mean, even on the day of the con, a good portion of people didn't even know saturday was for LGBT. not to mention the entertaining "extremely beta" announcement you guys made xD
personally, i think having 3 events each day would fit more? or split into two rooms and have two events going on at the same time?

oh just curious. i didnt stick around to the end of the masquerade, but who were the winners?

some of the ACP ones are weird like... I think they sat too close to the subwoofer or something lol

but all of not most of the performances and walk ons are on youtube by now

I thought it was a bit odd they restricted video recording (and yet a lot of people recorded anyways lol)

yeah, thats the prob that happened with their video of my performance. the speaker or something blocked both of our entire bodies for a good 30 seconds and i was frustrated cuz that was the really hard part of the dance

I cosplayed as the Hungary panelist during the Hetalia 18+ panel on Sunday 12am. If anyone took pictures or videos of that panel (me included or not), please share with me! i'd really love to see them :)

Also anyone who went to the Shonen Jump gathering on Sunday. If you took photos of the D.Gray-man mini-group, please share that as well. Same thing with the actual D.Gray-man gathering that was later that day. I was the only Lulu Bell. Thank you~!

Also. I was wondering for those who participated in the masquerade. The photoshoot that we took backstage- where can we see the photos again?

I was wondering if there were any records of the videos shown on the big screen during the masquerade and if performers can watch them again? I was in skit #28 (the miss a goodbye baby cover) and we'd like to see how we did.
other than that, if there was anyone in the audience who managed to record us, I guess we'd be interested in watching it!

On Sunday I will be cosplaying as Hungary from Hetalia at the Hetalia gathering so you can find me there, but I'll be using the gloves for a gathering after that at 2pm. If anyone is able to, thank you so much~!!! You would also be able to find me at the Hetalia 18+ gathering (I'm also going to be Hungary)

ANyways, so I've changed it to 2-4:30pm with 2pm being a bit unofficial and an break at 3 for the shonen jump gathering xDD

i'm have this idea of the 2pm one being a mini-lunch picnic where we all bring food and aside from eating, the allens+everyone will do a photoshoot with the food xDD

Since you have a South Korea for the 18+ pannel that can't make it to the all ages as S. Korea my cosplay is ready and I can do the all ages (but not the 18 and up)
I can post a photo or something if you want as well :3
Anyways if not then I'll be in the audience as Italy or Korea and I'm totally stoked to see the pannel! :D

Very good!  2pm may be the better choice :)  We gather at 2pm FiF CE, attend the Shonen Jump at 3pm, and then we can have an after gathering where we can walk around the con and take more pics, hang out, eat dinner, and then attend the B&W ^__^  Thank you for taking the initiative!

I bring my camera so we have at least a photographer for our gathering.  I was hoping to walk back to my hotel room after Shonen Jump to get my camera.  No worries XD

I've been pretty busy. Especially these past few months. The only reason I didn't take care of the DGM gathering earlier is that I figured someone else would have done so by now.
Well, That'll learn me.

The DGM gathering is the only thing I plan all con. So I'm free all day.

I've been busy myself with other priorities in my mind >.>  I planned day 3 for DGM.

/whew/ I'm glad it seems like Sunday 2pm was a good option. :)
