I'm a chick.  I'm dressing as Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi who is legally a guy, but dresses as a girl half the time.  The outfit is a "guy" Nuriko Outfit.  Do I get to go?  Please say yes, I would SO love to have an actual gathering to go to.   :lol:

No offence.  I'm good with glomping.  I'm good with the strange scavenger hunt last year were 14 people grabbed my butt cause I had dyed my hair pink (still a little confused by the butt grab, but whatever).  I'm good with dodge ball, flag football and any other sport where I choose if I'm playing or not.  

But the first fool to randomly shoot me with a nerf gun will spend the rest of fanime in the hospital while they surgically remove said nerf gun from the offenders colon.  

I'm pretty laid back, but not with that stuff.  Sorry to be a spoil sport, but that's just wrong.  If you want to shoot people find a laser tag arena or organize a game where people choose to be involved.

Anyone going to bring WTF (Work Time Fun)?  It's a got a couple of vs. type games, and I don't know anyone else who plays the game.

How excited am I?  Three nights (maybe four) in a King room at the Hilton all by myself.  No one else to bug me.  Just me, my laptop, a nice hot bath and room service.  Ah the joys of finally paying off my car and diverting the funds to fanime.  Yahoo!   :lol:

I had them do a new one.  Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi.  It's amazing, fully lined, the colors are right and it fits great.  I'm so excited.   :D   They made it from scratch in less then a month.

I don't know about chibified, but I've had very good luck with qqcosplay.com  They are fast, cheap and the outfit is really nicely made.

No promises but I'll look into doing a Ranma cosplay as well as my other two.  It'd be nice to have a gathering to go to, even if it's just a few people.

I'm old and don't move as fast as I used to...but hell yeah!  Count me in!

I really hope they do this.  I'm looking forward to cosplay and all, but it'd be nice to actually have a reason to dress like a girl for a little bit.

I'm doing one old school, Nuriko (Fushigi Yuugi) and one newer one Sophie (Howl's Moving Castle).  Anyone else doing anything for Fushigi Yuugi or Howl's Moving Castle?  (OK this is like the 4th time I've tried to post this and I keep getting invalid session...driving me crazy I tell you)

Hi Lee!  This is my second Fanime, and I'm driving everyone I know crazy with my preparations.  Seriously, I think they have a roll of duct tape set aside for me at work incase I start talking about it again.  You're going to have a blast!!  I'm excited for you!  So yay!

O.K. So InuYasha's pretty cute, and Howl is just awesome (even if he is a bird half the time), and Kakashi from Naruto is damned fine, then there's Hughes from FMA, oh yeah and...you know maybe I should find a real guy and stop drooling over the anime guys?   :oops:

I remember sitting down in the theatre to watch Howl's Moving Castle, thinking I was wasting my time.  That movie just floored me.  Paid to go watch it again.  I love that movie, I think it honestly changed my life!  (How sad is that?  Really) :roll:

Gotta love InuYasha, Fushigi Yuugi, Please Save My Earth, Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon...all near and dear to my heart. :wink:

It's a little dated...and I'll probably be shot by many of my friends.  But that last filler OVA for Fushigi Yuugi was just the single worst thing I ever wasted time on.  Did anybody else start looking for a spork to stick in their eyeball when they watched that?
