I may come and look, but no lolita costume this year. 

Sorry that I couldn't make it my family had a birthday party for the weekend at Union City and plus I went to visit my girlfriend too in Alameda.

I didn't make it either.  I had class on that day.

Nice try.. That's not me.  That's Devil May Cry 3.  I didn't bring my Devil May Cry 3 Lady this year.  Devil May Cry 4 is just too new.

yeah.. valid point.  collecting at the end.  It will give people the incentive to stay the entire masquerade. 

I agree there should be some sort of a people's choice award...but in that case...how do you figure out who wins? Paper ballotts? Volume of screams?? XP

I was the Sora in the Candy Mountain Cosplay "Im too Sexy" skit. Hope you guys enjoyed it! We had a blast!!!

Paper ballots put into a box..  There are a list of all the contestants on a ballot.  People vote on one and its put into a box as the people leave.  The winner is announced at closing ceremonies.

It'll be questionable.  Whether to dust off the old Padme, Bana Breemu, or Star Wars Lolita.  I'll think it over.  Put me down as maybe..

Another year and it has been a 2 years since I've been to a masquerade.  The people who I thought should win, didn't.. things like that.  Plus I tend to sleep during the performance.  Thank goodness there is Youtube.  So I don't think I've missed much.  Though I would like it if there was a people's choice award.  The judges don't pick this one.  The attendees do.  It's just a thought. 

Dance was ok..  Raves are great for those who like raves.  Just wondering if we will ever have rock music or j-rock in the future.  I came to the dance at all the wrong times because I didn't hear the music I wanted.  oh well..   

Obviously, some people decided to carry their own dance in the convention hall in order to hear the music they wanted.  works for me..   ;D

oohh..  nice.  If only I could have heard some of those.  I got slightly sleepy during the dance.  Rave music makes me sleepy. 

I mix both rave and J-music together. Best of both worlds.

I hope to hear music I like next year.  At least there isn't a strict dancing policy.  I went to a con, where you couldn't dance too close to your significant other because of minors, then at midnight they made the dance only for 18+.  craziness..

Yeah it was hard for some of us this year because we had so many other ones to do on saturday that friday seemed the best, i think sunday might be the better day next year. I loved your Lady costume btw. =)

Thanks.  Lady costume still isn't complete.  On the way home, Kalina Ann decided to break down.  *boo*  Once again a lot of work to prepare for next year's Fanime 2009.  Sunday would be better, for sure..

A lot of the panels were interesting this year.  However, I didn't care for getting up early to a panel to find it was canceled.  Hopefully there will be less of that next year.  There were a lot of room changes so it was also very confusing and disorganized.  And no clear cut maps of where things were.  I got lost a lot more than necessary.  I hope it'll be less confusing next year.

That was it.  I was looking for certain anime products that are too new.  I was also looking to buy things from Cosworx, but they weren't there.

I think my honey will wear his Nero costume.  He can never make up his mind. Two days before the con and he decides he may go as Nero.   ::)  *sigh*

Definitely feeling the stress.  Though my poor boyfriend is in worst condition.  4 all nighters in a row; working on costumes.  I'm just as bad as him.  I'm working on the same costume with no end.  I'm the one that will be sleeping more because I'm driving.  So at least I'll get a few hours of good sleep.  Unfortunately, I tend to miss out on the first day of the con due to lack of sleep.  I tell myself I'll break out of this habit.  Every year at Fanime it is the same.
