Not officially speaking, but there are a number of factors which make us decide to host or not host next year's pre-registration at the convention. It's partly why we don't announce it.

I was lining up at pre-reg line this year but the line took forever to move... I gave up after an hour when I only got half way... I had to leave at noon so I wanted to do last min  shopping and all.

Who are some characters that are:
- girl
- silly
- weird
- smiles/ laughs a lot
- not too tall
- cute rather than cool
- likes to sing ( this is optional)
- short to medium long hair

Why? because this is my personality, and i want to cosplay something close to myself next year! comments please!

I might be able to head next year, but we'll see. it will be great if it can be double heads.

I enjoyed it a lot! Hope it will be a bigger group next year! I want to do Juvia again next year with improved costume, or find a different character to cosplay.

I am 90% sure I will be there next year, and I am thinking to do Tsubasa's sakura (her white dress that appears at very beginning and towards the end).
My friend is planning to be there,too, which she will be Fai.

I'm sorry. I didn't have time to make Misao's costume this year... I am pretty sure I will participate with her next year though! ><

If you are a cosplayer im going to leave my print out in the cosplay chill zone in the share zone so everyone can look over it.  As long as no one steals it or marks it up it should be there all Convention.

Which i think it will be messed with, stolen, and gone by the first day or two... I am currently typing up what I want to see/do. But it is bummer not know other things going on at fanime and miss something exciting.

for the privilege to compete at the Japantown Idol Karaoke Contest!

The Preliminary Round will be at Gamba Karaoke (and 4 other karaoke bars and stores) and the TOP 3 contestants from each place will proceed to Final round at the Spirit of Japantown Festival!

Gamba Karaoke's preliminary Round is on Oct. 1st, at 7-9pm (tentative)

The Final Round will be at the Japantown Festival on Oct. 2nd, 3:30-5pm!

Google is coming to Anime V store to take pictures for their search engine!

Anime V thought it'd be great to spruce up the store with Cosplayers and Anime fans!
They will be there Wednesday July 14th sometime between 2pm and 5pm.

Since it's a wide time range, bring portable chairs to rest when you need to. They will have refreshments!
Anyone here when the Google photographer arrives will be entered into a drawing after the pictures are taken for movie tickets and maybe a few other goodies!
