Hello fellow Fanime attendees!

I had a question. I'm currently 17 but by the time Fanime comes around, I'll be 18.

I'm planning on getting a hotel, however, my father will be paying with it from his debit card.

I'm assuming that the hotel will go under his name? We live a fair ways away from San Jose and he doesn't want to travel all the way down there just to verify I am using the hotel. Is there a way he can pay for it from his card but put it under my name so I can provide a state issued I.D. and use the hotel room?

If this is possible, would he need to be there to check out?

so is the pre-reg line different to the line where you buy

I'm booked in at the Fairmount.
Something popped up so my mom can't attend. But, my dad is taking me. My mom booked our room, and gave all her info. Is there a way to change our info without costing us anything? Since it says we can't alter our info any longer. What do I do?

I know , I know; there's a million and one + threads regarding this question. Gah.

I'm currently 13, and the only form of ID I have is a school ID. Which is apparently not acceptable. Since it is most likely too late to get a State ID from DMV.. how do I prove myself? o_o Can I show the receipt or something?

Aaanndd. What are the steps of getting your pre-reg badge?

And also; my friend is going to buy a whole weekend badge on Friday. She isn't pre-regging. But she is 15. My father is taking both of us, so does he need to stand in line aswell?

So , some stuff came up.. and it turns out I *might* not be able to pick up my badge on Thursday. Will it still be available Friday... or any other way I can get it?

What is your sleeping schedule gonna look like at fanime? Gonna pull some all nighters? Go to bed early, wake up early? What will it be? :)

Is there a certain age you hafta be to be able to dance at Fanime?

So I was late, and am booked into the Fairmount. Anything I should expect?

And I need recommendations.

Which hotel would you suggest would be the best to stay at for Fanime Con '09?
Most affordable?
What are its pro's and con's?
Does it offer free parking?

Gah! I can't stress enough about this!

I'm going to Fanime Con '09 on bad conditions, and I'd like some tips on how I can still have a blast Dx.

-Going alone [ UGH! DX]
- Limited money

So, what should I do? ;.;
I'm not the most social ever. I tried talking to a few people at the con, but they just sorta looked at me weird and walked away e.e
Should I try being social again?
Oh yeah.. another horrible thing..
My parents won't let me go alone Dx so they're coming with me.
We're gonna stay at the hotels though, the whole con weekend.
So, yeah.

Any tips for still having fun?

I've never pre-registered for Fanime before, and I've only been  to Fanime once. That was last year.
So, after following the steps of pre-reg.. what happens? What do I do?
