I'm surprised so many other con-goers donate at Stanford Blood Centers, I'd donate at con, but I do platelets + plasma and con is just whole blood :P

Ha I always get a high floor, many a time have I run all the way up and down the stairs.  It's pretty funny when you can beat the elevator :P

Well sometimes you reach the point like in the Marriott where people will ride the elevator down from the 2nd floor, in order to go UP.  I'm not sure if posting people would help regulate that at all.  Unsure as well as it's the hotel property as well as that is dealing with alot of people and varies as well based on the size of the person and their cosplay I would imagine.

I thought Man Faye was only banned at other cons because of some 'wardrobe malfunctions' lol, not that it was inappropriate or anything.  Never heard about stuff at other cons, although I did see a report from some stupid midwest state where they thought people dressed in Pedobear outfits were REAL pedophiles, just because they wore the outfit. lol

I did skim several of the sections, seems ok for brand new con-goers though.

Ha it depends, either way you'll probably be waiting awhile.
People line up way before pre-reg pickup opens, and the line can get pretty long.  But it's not too bad to come by late afternoon just for an hour or 2 to be in line.
I can't recall how long we were in line this last year, as long as you're with friends, having fun, talking to new people in line, taking pictures of cosplayers walking by, it's all fun and the time flies by. lol

Well I think cosplay comes down to what are you trying to do?
Look realistic/accurate or just have a fun time? And that should guide how much effort and what you do for your cosplay.

Yeah, we had a really messy room last year and then cleaned it up before we checked out, so as long as the maids aren't doing extra work to clean your room then it should be ok and you shouldn't get charged.

I agree as well that there's quite a few people around on Day 0 to go to the dance on Thursday.
Heh I think some people don't know about it though, as well as when people do pop in to check it out there's just a handful of people arriving and leaving it staggered.
I always go with my friends for a little bit to see how it is and what's playing lol. We usually don't stick around for too long though, so I think part of it is getting more people to go so that it reaches critical mass where people can feel lost in the crowd or more social as well?

I might be going, man last year it was pretty hot out though especially cause of barely any shade lol.

Ha but in all seriousness, everywhere you go in life there's gonna be creepers, rovers are on patrol anyway, I don't see what more could be done besides getting more rovers, which is just a matter of the volunteering, ahem.
