Im not sure everyone here understands the issue. It's not just that she doesn't want the rollaway, it's that she also doesn't want to pay for it. The room with a guaranteed rollaway has the cost already added in when you book. No one can give a definite 'Yes' or 'No' over whether she'll be charged anyway for the rollaway that she's not using.

You aren't paying for the rollaway. The rooms with the guaranteed rollaways are bigger and just happen to have a rollaway in the closet. You are paying for the extra space.

The 'Guaranteed Rollaway' isn't that there is an actual rollaway there, it is that it is a much larger room with enough space for a rollaway, and so if you want one, there is room for it ( and a guarantee that it'll be available ).

Where we stayed: Fairmont, 16th floor, 1 Queen bed room.
Was it good or bad: Excellent.
Would you stay again? Most likely.

Comments:  Very nice rooms, incredible bathroom with seperate shower and large tub. Vanity outside of bathroom in addition to the one inside with the sink. It was very quiet, though that may have just had to do with being a corner room. Ice machine was close, maid service was good, restocked everything. They even brought extra bathrobes when we requested them. The walk to the con was nice, not too far. The view from up there was awesome.

Cons: The 'fridge' was a minibar where they charge you for moving stuff. We had it locked to keep anyone from drinking anything.

Rovers: Well, just the one in particular that asked me to peace bind my walking cane. Fortunately after carefully explaining that my walking cane is in fact a walking cane used for walking, I was allowed to continue. I had hoped that it would be obvious...

The group at the top of page 3 is from Repo! The Genetic Opera. I think they were members of the Sacramento cast.

I lost the lens cap to my camera.

But some awesome person saw my GF with the camera and gave her a lens cap that presumably they found. So overall, came out even.
