Well the Fountain is Officially gone.

Me and jade haven't even figured everything out yet. That's basically a word for word repost from last year's.  Unless I wasn't told something.

I wasn't planning on doing anything official until after preregister even opened up. And we were talking about abandoning the 2011 format in favor of the 2010 model. But again this is all speculation. 

I do however intend to give far more than a 7 days worth of notice if I can. I want to try and get a solid system set up. I also plan to bounce ideas off of forum goers to gauge expected output.

But after I meet up with some of the others ill definitely try and keep the forums updated.

Eh, I'm not too worried. I'm not sure if well be able to fill them to capacity if we do as many as I'd like to do. I figure we have about a 6:1 ratio of guys to girls. I'm hoping if I give 5 months notice and planning I might be able to get it to 2:1.   :3

I once had a dream that I met a lovely girl at fanime and we hit it off and I was happy. And then I woke up.

Haha horror stories are hillarious.

They always end with assaults and people being scarred for life.

In fact, Fanime is, to my knowledge, the only fan convention I've been to that has legal names so prominent on their badges. And when I figured it out, I started putting a modified version of my legal name on the registration. It's close enough to where I can show my ID and prove that yes, I am me, I am not trying to dodge anything and yes that's my badge, but not so close that people can do a Google search and stalk me by merely glancing at my tummy.

(Paranoid? Yes, but I have darn good, personal reasons why I go this route.)

The irony, of course, being that fan names are even easier to trace to an individual.

That is a horrible idea, and i can't think of any game of which that would work well, you would effectively remove all context from half of the scenes, and it would be like a hero showing up, and then immediately cut to the hero walking away from a villain's subdued body. How would this be entertaining?

Are you saying as a machinima, or just taking a modern video game and cutting its cutscenes into a movie? or are you saying as a carefully edited playthrough?

hopefully they will have this event next year so i can try it out.

well we have enough operators this year to probably do it with more ease than last year.

and i will likely try and wrangle things together with them with more than a few weeks foresight. (ideally a few months, but admittedly, this isn't something i'm particularly concerned with starting to set up until January.)

1) Teleportation (Keeping with the laws of mass, creating vacuums and pressure waves as i leave and reappear)

2) Shapeshifting (Also keeping with the laws of mass, thus being able to only reconfigure my entire body into different shapes and capabilities, not loss or gaining of mass)

3) Hemokenesis (The ability to manipulate blood and bodily chemicals within myself and other individuals.)

4) Sound Manipulation (Including Generation and Elimination thereof)

5)Energy Manipulation (Fire and Electrical control)

They were locked out because the people they were rooming with were having relationship drama, and i thought one of them was cute and talked with them whilst they were locked out and i gave them some energy drinks.

Sadly she was in a relationship.
