@mrsanticcafe:
Do you mean Miku cried during Nanairo CRAYON de Egaku Hikari? Because I'm pretty sure they didn't play Orange Dream...And he cried? o__O I really didn't notice that. ^^; I just remember being serenaded by Yuuki when he ended the song with his solo *__*

Wow, you wore flip-flops to a rock concert? >< At least you didn't lose your shoes, like my friend did, she had flats on. XD

But yeah, you can find a lot of live reports here:
http://community.livejournal.com/an_cafe/1068809.html

He didn't exactly CRY. But his eyes were watery. I wasn't really sure so I checked the big screens up top and his eyes really were watery.

Well I made quite a few friends during the concert line and in the Civic Auditorium. (: I'm glad I stayed after the concert for the next 5 minutes 'cause the came out for an encore. Too bad for the people who left during that time.

Oh, so then they'll be selling the merch the entire weekend?
Or are they still just selling it during certain points in time?

//edit - Sorry if it's a stupid question, I've never been to an Anime Convention before so this will be my first, and I don't really know how everything goes just yet. >.>
There is a vendor that will be selling merchandise in the Dealers room the entire weekend; additionally, the band themselves will be selling merchandise at their events. So there should be lots of opportunity to get some cool stuff, though I personally would buy from the band directly... just feels more supportive.

And which event is this? (:

Oh! And thanks for answering my previous question!

I have a question I'm not very clear on.

On Friday morning, are you actually giving out 125+ tickets? 125 tickets for those who didn't enter the AnCafe promo code and "+" tickets for those who did and have their tickets reserved? Also,on Friday, can I get all three tickets at once? Well, if there are still any autograph and reception tickets left . . .

Student ID. She's too young to drive. (x And she doesn't have a passport, and I have already been told to use a school ID if all else fails . . .

Ah, sucks for her then. Dx I guess she can come after school.

Thanks for the information though! (:

I have a question . . . well two actually . . .

1. My cousin lost her ID card so she's wondering if she could use her ID card from last year.

2. She'll be in school while I pick up my badge, so can I pick up her badge for her and bring her ID too?

I already e-mailed the registration staff member and he said that a student ID is fine. It's just time consuming I guess . . . ?

I'm fourteen too and my mom doesn't trust me with my own passport alone since I might lose it.

You all really need to chill. This isn't JRock Rev or some other live venue (omg really? NO WAY!); this is an anime convention. Anime convention. Okay? Things are done a little differently. And contrary to your belief and that of your pals, MusicFest staff knows what they're doing. This isn't the first concert they've ever held, ya know. The biggest, to be sure, but not the first.
Maybe you should just zip it and wait for ALL the details to be released before you start whining and complaining about everything. How can you even find it logical to whine about how things are going to be done when you don't even know for sure how they're going to be done? Just because you're breathing down their necks doesn't mean you're going to get any special treatment and it doesn't mean they're going to change what they've been planning to do just because omg you don't like it. Oh, and being almighty mod-sama of the AnCafe comm doesn't mean jack either. It's a power trip and nothing more. You're no better or different than anybody else; you're not special. You'll be subject to the same rules and restrictions and timelines for whatever MusicFest decides on concerning the AnCafe live and other events. Which they haven't released yet and aren't going to until they're good and ready. So leave them alone.
Geez...

I think what you said clearly explains what is on my mind right now. But you could have put it in nicer words or something.

I mean, a lot of people paid A LOT of money [people who are going on a plane] JUST to see AnCafe, and wouldn't it be a waste if they didn't get the ticket to go to the concert? Yeah, they could just enjoy the convention, but some people don't like anime. [My cousin doesn't really like anime but she likes AnCafe]

Everyone is just worried and they want information ASAP to make sure that everything goes according to their schedule.

I'm worried too. This will be my first year at Fanime and I would like specific details so I won't get lost. I'm not familiar with the convention center in San Jose, or anywhere near there.

All in all, I think everyone should just chill out. There's two more weeks before Fanime and I bet that the staff members are working on what to do. More information will most likely be posted sometime next week. [But I'm not part of staff so I wouldn't know] I don't think they'll have all information posted the night before Fanime because that's when most fans are leaving for San Jose and the next day, most of them will be clueless.

Yes, thank you very much!

I know that you are still planning things out, but do you have a specific place to where you are going to hand out the tickets?

Whoa, that's so cool!

Oh, okay, thank you! This will be my first time at Fanime so yeah . . . [I don't live around San Jose]

No worries! I would suggest, if you can, to buy a full badge and pre-register for Fanime. Pre-reg lines tend to move more quickly than the "single day" badge lines which can take more than 3 or 4 hours.

If you do decide to come, we hope you will have a lot of fun. :D

Wow, 3-4 hours? I remember last year at Anime Expo, I had to wait about 7 1/2 hours. . .

Back on topic-ish.
Does anyone know what time the concert might start? And what time the registration lines open?

Wait . . . so I have to buy my badge on THE DAY of the concert?

Or the day before is fine . . . ?

If you are only able to attend the day of the concert, yes. You must purchase it the day of. Single day passes only count for the day it is purchased.

Oh, okay, thank you! This will be my first time at Fanime so yeah . . . [I don't live around San Jose]

If you don't want to register for a full weekend, you can register for one day attendance, for Fanime, on the day of the concert, that will be able to get you into Musicfest's concert.  These passes are not available online but in person at the reg booth.

In terms of seating, in the past, it has been first come first serve, but not in terms of when you get your registration, it depended on how long before the show one was willing to line up.

Wait . . . so I have to buy my badge on THE DAY of the concert?

Or the day before is fine . . . ?

If I come on time I'll be cosplaying as Yachiru. Slim chances though . . .

I have a two relating questions about ticketing:

IF AnCafe did come to perform at Fanime, would I have to buy a ticket to see their concert or is my badge just fine?

Or could I just buy a ticket to see their concert and not have to buy a badge at all. [I might not get to stay at the con ):]
