Hiya folks!

To build on what someone thought of last year, I'd like to perhaps make a panel for incoming freshman (and prospective students in general) regarding anime clubs. My thought is to get a representative from all the local college anime clubs and ask questions, and let the audience ask questions as well.

I'm personally from the Davis Anime Club, and as an officer from the club, I'd like to ask all of you who look at this and are members of other college anime clubs to ask your officers to contact me. If you can send me a PM that'd be great!

It'd be cool to get a backing from FanimeCon on this, since I think this could be a pretty big thing. Either way, I'd like to get at least 5 different clubs in on this. All ranges are good: Private, Public, Community, University.

Also, if you have any questions that you want me to ask during the panel, feel free to post them here. Comments and ideas for how to panel can be run would be great too! :)

@slifer: If you need me to don the Paradox costume past the Masquerade, as long as I'm open the time the meet up is I'd be more than willing to wear it. :P I've always wanted to go to a Yugioh cosplay meetup! XD

I'm a part of the UC Davis Anime Club and I think this would be an awesome idea! We are planning on having an artist alley booth for our anime club with our artists, panels and such, so we're going to be pretty active.

I don't know how many people would be interested (How many college-bound high school seniors are at Fanime?) but we would love to help with information you could possibly need. Let the incoming students know what they have. XD

Thank you! Yeah, I disappeared after the Gundam SEED photos in order to change into Sumeragi for the Gundam 00 photos. But yeah, my friend who was Commander Lacus got my Haro back to me :)

I don't know if anyone has heard about Kimeru. He's very talented and does J-Pop/Rock music and has been featured in musicals like TeniMyu and the Japanese version of Pippin! ^_^ He's also collaberated with Daisuke Asakura (TMR's music ring a bell?) and Tetsuya Komuro (Ayu anyone?)... It would be AMAZING if he could come to preform at Fanime Con next year, his crowd interactions are great, he's super cute, and he has an amazing voice!

I would LOVE to see Kime in the US. He's such a wonderful singer with great stage presense! Oh please invite him to come!!! @o@ I think I mentioned this after the 2006 con too haha. XP

I know this will never happen, but I'd love any Johnny's group to come. I doubt it'll ever happen. But if Johnny Kitagawa lets KAT-TUN or NEWS perform state side I would fly anywhere for it!

And I agree with the j-pop notion. I'm more of a poppy person than Hard rock. XP
