I have always pictures an anime club in college was like genshiken. (an anime about an anime club in college. highly suggest you check that anime out ^^b) but as far as my experience with the anime club over at my college it has been pretty fun. jokes seem to be more perverted, and more organized. kinda reminds me of my high school anime club. I think the real answer to what is it like in college well, depends on who is in your club, is your club members organized, lazy, or whatever, and more mature and perverted lol. it would be a bit interesting if there was a panel of it.

reminds me, I should play through portal again for that secret. portal is always a great game to come back too ^^b.

yea the games I got from the market place were overtime, and some of them my bro bought or got me to buy for him. if there is one thing I always have games to play, not to mention I been digging the new Splinter Cell: conviction demo lately. Sam Fisher is so much more badass then before. ^^b. oh and my gamertag is Clawmaster 2. If you are going to send me an invite please put in some info so I know its not some stalker dude lol.

That every time I go to fanime there's always a story to be told. either good, bad, or the strange lol.

On a Bleach related topic:
My friend started watching Bleach today, I kinda regret telling her about it. She has never seen anime before. At first she called me an anime freak. Now:
1. She kept making rude remarks about the show like she knew everything about Bleach/Japan though she knows nothing about it. (she said they were mashing up there words at the beginning of Asterisk [she knows no Japanese])
2. Now she's wondering why it's not "romance" I had to explain shonen vs shojo. (all she reads is Twilight)
3. She saw some fan art and said "why are they kissing I thought you said it wasn't romance" Then I had to explain fangirls/boys fanfic etc. (fine! I admit it I make pairings too! but absolutly no yaoi)
4. She is terrified of the hollows but she still wants to watch it.
5 Came up to me this morning and said "I saw 4 more episodes and Ichigo's dad is a FREAK!"
*palm face* WHY OH WHY COULDN'T I JUST KEEP BLEACH BETWEEN MY FRIENDS WHO KNOW WHAT ANIME IS?!?!?! Oh what to do? *sigh*

well guys sadly i given this alot of thought and well thx to a person I know that has worked with the staff last year *though they slandered for standing up for the fans, and she quit afterward* she told me straight up. the person in charge has too much of an ego and doesnt give a crap about the fans. so heres how i c it.

if things r to be changed so its more for the fans and have an equal ground for peacebonding...........it will need drastic measures. how drastic u might ask? online petitions arent going to do much and probably be ignored. my suggestions, hire a lawyer and make a case out of it. of course before this there has to be alot of research to be done, which that means talking to the police in san jose as well as others, talk to staff that used to work at fanime, talk to people there were affected by the weapon policy changes, and so on. only thing is, if this keeps up and knowing the head with his ego, we get a big enough group he might do either a few things. bare with me as these things are jst my guesses, he could 1. threaten to cancel fanime all together *highly unlikely but might bluff*, 2. agree with the case and hire thier own laylwer and it be months of seeing who wins out of it, or 3, try to find a way to ban anyone that opposes the idea of peacebonding.

though I myself is not going to carry no props except for one prop for friday evening,*cough m16 for left 4 dead cosplay cough <<* I hear you guys out. its wrong that fanime rules have to be enforced to people who took the time and effort in making thier props exactly as they could.

now i have one more thing to keep in mind, there are lots of that do have props and need to be checked but the majority of the rest of the attendness does not. this is only a guessment but if u had to guess at least say 40% cosplayers have props, while the other 60% dont. and u guys seen them.

so i suggest to all of you, keep track of any instance that happend at your time at the con, jot down the name and badge of the person that is harrasing u, and keep track what happends at the con. having video footage does help and audio too. If you guys really want to get into it, i suggest before getting a lawyer wait till after fanime. dont look for trouble with fanime staff, do what yuu suggested, go there have fun and if things pop up find a way to record it or anything about it.

I know some of you guys have seen this already but Yukari and I tried to strongly defend the cosplayers POV and the opposition did not give valid arguments to support themselves at all.

If they have no valid arguemtns/ legal basis, there is nothing they can do but kick and scream like children.

I dotn know any California law, but if there IS in fact a law against it then theres not much you can do Except untie it and take your chances. Most likley even if a cop sees it, they wont give a damn.

yea your right. as much as I would love to ask a lawyer and fiqure out a way so that fanime doesnt harrass us about our weapons, the best way to go about this is probably jst go to the con and dont antagonize anyone with the weapon policy. Though yuu i would like a copy of those rules you found and use on staff if they step over thier boundries. u never know when you need it at times of harrassment.

it really urks me every time i hear a story that someone cant take out thier weapon due to "it might hurt somebody"...at this point if you really think about it, every weapon u can grab or a part of your body is a weapon. i mean even a pen could be a weapon if u think about it, no pun intended to the the pen is mightier then the sword quote xD.

I know most cons want to keep it safe and lets admit it we do have people stupid enough to do think that since they have a weapon that they they can now own everyone in their wake of destruction. But in the process of trying to protect those that are idiots they r cutting off everyone else that are responsible in actually knowing that their props and weapons are not real and can hurt people. I sort of want the idea of showing ID for some certain props. to know that at a certain age some people can handle it. though the think yuu brought up was that there are older people who do act stupid. yea i dk, its a pain that this happends but at the same time what are we going to do? theres enough stupid people out there that cause enough trouble for the rest of us that no one will think we are mature people dealing with props and costumes. hmm maybe some sort of 3 strikes rule sholuld be in place then? u know like 1st a warning, then so on? i dk, what do u think.

You're quite efficient. I kept getting distracted by stuff so I barely touched my Bleach cosplays. At least I got my mom to loan me her sewing machine, now to power through cosplays during school.

My cosplay is all ready for Fanime, but I like to use working on costumes as an excuse for not doing on school work, LOL. :P

I say the uh intro to the show with the singer singing all 10 songs in a row without stopping was awesome. it almost brought tears to my eyes to see and hear how awesome it was. skits wise, there were some good ones and some bad ones but meh what can you do about that i mean nothing really. nothing much i mean I still go to the masq and still enjoy it. I have no big gripes about it.

This may be a little random, but during school, there was a cherry blossom tree in bloom and the petals were falling off, so my friend took a picture of me, and I'm like "Bankai. Scatter, Senbonzakura Kageoshi"

yep 57 days left. so far so good on my end. i still need to work on my other cosplays plus my friends plus my bros costume. hopefully things will turn out well.
