The last convention I went to [ SacAnime July 2007 ] I forgot to eat for about a day and a half. I almost fainted during the rave. Seriously, all the convention stuff gets really distracting, be careful and always take a break to eat. xDD

How much of Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE have you read?
Are you familiar with many other CLAMP works and how they canonize their couples?

If you said no to either of these questions than you have no room to talk. The way the relationship between Kurogane and Fai is developing in the later manga chapters of Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE is going down the road of CLAMP's version of canon.

And just a warning, what will be following this warning contains major spoilers from volume fifteen and up for TRC.

As of chapter 166/167 Kurogane and Fai can be considered canon by CLAMP standards; when in a desperate situation, through a dream when Kurogane was near death, Tomoyo-hime asked if Kurogane wished with all his heart to save and stay with Fai, and if he did wish that, to sever his arm [ which was infused with Fai's magic ] in exchange for Fai's life. Kurogane instantly, without hesitation cuts his own arm off so that he and Fai would not be seperated. [ Here is the page of Tomoyo asking him, and here he is severing his arm ] And lets not forget the fact that Kurogane became Fai's primary food source, stopped Fai from committing suicide, killed Ashura, and kept Fai somewhat mentally stable during the Celes arc. Fai on the other hand has done a fair share for Kurogane; he taught Kurogane what true strength was [ he is Kurogane's true strength ], and he also just [ in chapter 169 ] gave up all his remaining magic to give Kurogane a prosthetic arm.

99.9% of the time, in a CLAMP series, those types of things boil down to the two parties becoming a canon couple. If you have not read to these events in Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE I can understand that you may not think that Kurogane and Fai have anymore than regular friendship but really, if you have read that far than I cannot understand how you can possibly doubt their relationship.

I only ship couples that are canon or plausible.
Kurogane and Fai are my OTP because their relationship is epic, most certainly plausible and nearly canon.

I love Soubi x Ritsuka as well, especially after the events that took place in volume seven, seeing Soubi in that state was quite interesting, and the way he went to Ritsuka for comfort was simply awesome. I wont say any more at risk of spoilers for anyone who hasn't read that far. ^-^

While on the subject of Loveless, both the Zero couples were awesome. Koya and Yamato's relationship was simply beautiful and Youji and Natsuo's relationship is hilarious and really sweet at the same time.

Anyway, I'd like to know everyone's favorite anime/manga couple is. They can be from any series and of any gender [ because we all know gender is irrelevant to love ] and so yeah. Go ahead and lets see some love! xD

My favorite:

All right, my absolute favorite manga/anime couple of all time would have to be Kurogane and Fai from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. From the very beginning of the story I could tell something was going to develop between the two of them, weather it would be just friendship or romance I didn't know at the time. But as the story progressed everything unfolded and their epic romance began to take form. The things these two do for each other are simply breathing taking; the things they sacrifice for each other never cease to make me go "Wow!" Anyway, I can blather on about how epic I think their relationship is but you'd all probably get bored. xD But yeah, they're my OTP and I just love their epic and beautiful relationship. ^__^

Meep. I can't really remeber exactly what chapter she was wearing it in, although I do know she wore it in the middle of the Infinity arc.
But yeah, this dress is one of my personal favorites that she has worn. I also like the one she's wearing in this picture and I plan to cosplay as her in that at one point. Oi, there are so many TRC cosplays I want to do, one thing I like about TRC is that they all wear such awesome clothes and they change with each arc! I'd have to say though, Infinity had the BEST outfits. x3

[CLAMP]

I would simply die if there was any possible way for CLAMP to come to Fanime. I mean really. I'd crawl to their feet holdind a silver platter with my heart on it for them [ okay so that's and exaggeration ] but I would be VERY happy if they could possibly come.

I'm so excited, but none of my friends are into anime so I've been blabbering to them about how awesome it's gonna be and they're just like "O___o; You're a geek, but we love you. Now stop blabbering." =| It sucks to have no friends that share the same interest as me. HENCE THE REASONS I GO TO CONVENTIONS. So yeah, hopefully I'll make some friends at Fanime.

Lawl, I know this topic hasn't been posted in for ages but I think I need to revive it and give the real deal of what's going on with the Tsubasa anime.

Yes, season three was canceled because the next arcs were far too bloody and too full of suggestive themes to show on NHK [ Japan's version of PBS ] and so NHK wanted to further edit the story and change the next few arcs. CLAMP, being already pissed about the plot edits and changes to the story CLAMP themselves canceled the third season and now as a big "FUCK YOU" to NHK/Bee Train, CLAMP has teamed up with Production I.G. to make a set of three OVA's that have absolutely nothing to do with the former anime. They will be strictly following the plot of the manga and will include the events that took place in the manga.

CLAMP was not pleased with the way their story was being ripped to shreds by NHK/Bee Train and so they canceled what would have been another highly edited and completely butchered season. Personally, I am overjoyed that CLAMP decided to take the route they did as it was painful for me to watch Tsubasa Chronicle, the second season especially because of the ridiculous and OOC fillers and plot edits.

If I can even earn enough money to actually go to Fanime, I will be cosplaying as:

Fai D. Flourite  [ Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - volume nineteen cover art OR Nihon arc outfit ]
