Thankfully I can pass my 10 days playing copious amounts of Diablo 3 ;)

oh god..ur one of THOSE... hahahaha
well that should be fun
thankfully my boyfriend made the wise decision to wait until after finals to buy D3 XD
I'll reserve judgement until I find out what "one of THOSE" means  8)

Regardless, anything I can do to pass time 'till fanime is a good thing!

Ways you know you're an anime nerd: When burn half your face while sitting under the sun at a baseball game, and all you can think of is hmmm, I hope this doesn't mess up my cosplay!

YES! I have been trying to avoid getting a sunburn, so I can cosplay! I get bad face burns and it would ruin my whole look!

not to be rude..but thats kinda funny XD hahahaha
i hope that u guys are all okay wit ur cosplays and stuff :)
I'm having the damnest time trying to figure out what kind of shoes Okarin from Steins Gate wears, but the rest of that outfit is pretty damn easy so yeah, I should be fine. 11 days is plenty of time for my face and neck peel and not be red any more :D

Are we allowed to bring someone with us if we sit up with the rest of the editors? Just curious as I'll be attending with someone for pretty much the entire con.

Seems like everyone is doing lots of things when they first get here. I sounds lazy! But I know getting my pass will be the top prioity other than landing safetly at the airport.
That can be done Thursday afternoon! I shall be waiting in line for what will probably be hours >.>

So I got a question for everyone?
What is the first thing you do when you get to fanime? After all the hotel crap is finished.

Hmmm... Depends on what the schedule is like, but I usually go to check out the exhibition hall first to check if there's some loots I want.

Also, the clear up my meeting attendance, I'll be around for Thursday with a +1, but almost certainly will not be there for Friday's meetup.

With the friend I'm attending the con with, we'll be doing Okarin and Christina Steins;Gate cosplay, though it was impossible to find body length lab coats D:

I didn't go last year, spent my con money on going to Sakuracon instead, so it'll be like a homecoming for me :D

Put me on the list for Thursday night, and I'd be bringing someone else along.

Oh that sucks about drinking. I just get a bit to giggly and happy if I like have more then a couple of sips.

I love congoers! i find it hard to talk to non anime fans and I am a bit shy talking to people I don't know. But When I am at anime conventions its so east to talk to someone I don't know. Mabye its  because we have lots in common at cons or something but I love it so much.
Is the beauty of cons. Everyone is there because they share a love of something, so no matter who you find you'll always have something to converse about. I don't think I've ever seen ever unhappy at a con.

As for drinking, I, too, do not like it much. Really, I just can't stand the taste of it, especially beer. And, amusingly enough, I think I drank more when I was underaged than I've drank since I turned 21  8)

Hey if your up to it then its fine with me. I just need a ride to the hotel, thanks so much! ;D

Flame's? Well I am hoping to try some new places to eat other than subway or mcdonalds.
Sounds good. I'll send ya some contact info as the con approaches in a PM or something.

As for Flames, here's the website and menu: http://flameseatery.com/ and http://flameseatery.com/flames-menu.pdf

That would be cool. If you anime fan I think I could trust ya. If you want to though. I really don't want to take a taxi or try and find a light rail or something.
Oh, that I am. Hell, I'm enough of an anime fan that I made an AMV to enter into Fanime's contest (though we'll see if mine is chosen as a finalist or not, soon  ;)). And yeah, totally up for helping fellow con-goers, taxis are expensive and going around light rail with luggage can be a pain. That goes for anyone else who would be getting in earlier Thursday too, btw, I kinda doubt I'd have I'd have to time give rides on actual con days :D

As for places to get food, how does Flame's sound? Just a few blocks from the convention center, not too expensive, and would have drinks for those who want it?
