They had speed dating the last 3 years, i was part of each one of them. My first year i matched with this super cute girl, but she never responded and i was the sad.

So how many people were in each speed dating session?  20? 30? more? less?

*How successful everyone thought it was?
*Was it worth going?
*How many attendees were there?
*Im curious about the guy/girl ratio as well
*What did you think was negative about the event? (If anything)

*And i would love to hear some stories as well if anyone is willing to share :3  anybody find a special someone through this event? (or at fanime in general)

well this years depression is definitely not as bad as last years, which was horrible btw.

ive been staying in the marriot/hilton hotels for the last 4-5 years and i usually have 6-7 people xP

what the hotel dont know, wont hurt them.

They didnt sell out in 1. hr 25 mins.
They sold out in 25 mins. ;D
But, yeah, they went too fast.

i was on here almost 2 hours after launch and all the hotels still had most days available, with the exception of friday at the hilton and marriot. but as i said both saturday and sunday were availible ^^

marriot was $50 a night when i stayed there for the deposit

better yet, what you should do sometime before fanime, sooner than later, is call and put down as a special request that your could like room 'A' and room 'B' to be connected if possible.

usually the hotel wont give you any problems and would be more then willing to honor your request, since thats what the rooms are meant for xP

make sure to have your reservation identification number handy (the 8 digit number you got when you reserved the rooms) as well as you name and they will do the rest :3

I think that hotel reservations should be done via gladiatorial matches for the best rooms.  Just a thought.

first off, i like your post and think its funny. the image of people in their cosplay outfits duking it out for a room seems amusing  :D

however, i think this post would be better off in another thread  :P
