For anime...I usually watch it online, then buy it if I really really like it. After all...DVDs are expensive. But I always buy my mangas. o_o

Oooh~ It's so nice to hear that people are going. I'm actually trying to staff for the festival. o__o But apparently they're too busy to reply yet. It'd be nice to see more cosplayers on stage...but if you just enjoy walking around in your costumes...it's fine...~ (as long as I can hunt you down with my camera...*3*)

what's a podcast?

This is a very unprofessional definition. Podcast is just a bunch of digi-media files. I suppose podcasts are easier in that you just record and throw it online.  >.<
