I can probably remember about 50-70% of what i played. Completely forgot to save my history files after my sets. DERP.
No excuses!  Should have remember what you played, foo!  lol jk :)

In the defense of Electro House not being played or lack thereof, I played it for 2 straight hours in the Market room Friday night from 12am - 2am, and I played some more on Sunday between 7pm - 10pm.

Also, it's kind of hard to make a case for dubstep by saying that it's on the rise when damn near everyone I talk to about dubstep either dislikes it, hates it, or can't stand 5 minutes of it.  And I talk to A LOT of people.

What if I just make a mix and send it to you.  Would that work?

I didn't even know you played Revolving Doors on Sunday.  I must have stepped out of the room.  I love that track. It's in one of my recent mixes.

don't have to be committed to enjoy playing good music heh.

Of course but if I want to get good at it and have good mixes

You know, I think this would make a good panel for next year.  What do you guys think?  A DJ workshop panel for '10?

Techtris - Fabio Stein.

I think I played it Friday night though.

Has Reign listed a list of confirmed DJs? I emailed the proper channels, and got nore reply. I feel like I have been ignored...

It's ok, I and others from the production crew I work with was asking Reign if he wanted to cut his costs on equipment and use our complete audio/video system for free but we haven't gotten any responses either. *Waves signed contract* we sent it back, what's the deal??
Wait...You sent it back?  Who did you send it to?  I never got it.  I thought you guys pulled out or something...Send me a message ASAP!!!!!

And to answer some of the questions, Dance will be EVERY night starting on Thursday.  Just bare with me guys while I try to finalize schedules and other loose ends before con.  It will be a good show nonetheless, so don't worry.  :)

I have not listed that because not everyone has been confirmed.  I will within the next few days.

For some reason I can't actually vote. If you like playing electronic music then Dance genre music would be good. You should check out some of the music on the Newgrounds audio portal. It has a bunch of start up musicians/djs and there's some pretty good dance and trance music. Look for f-777 in particular and I also like some of syphonmax's stuff.

I locked the voting a while ago.

Alright, here's what's going on:

I kind of dropped the ball for a second, so what I am about to tell you, will not be in the program guide.

First off, Dance this year WILL HAVE TWO ROOMS!  The main room will have some j-pop, k-pop, hardcore, hardstyle maybe, trance, techno and perhaps drum n bass.  The second smaller room will have hip hop/ top 40's, house, and electro. The second room will be located in the hilton near where Dance is normally at.

That's not all!  There will also be a Dance on Day Zero (Thursday night) for the early birds.  This dance will be a pajama jammy jam!  For those who wish to participate, come to the dance in your jammys!  Pretty simple, huh?  The Jammy Jam will start at 8pm till 12am.

AND speaking in which, the hours for Dance have changed once again!  Now, Dance will start at 8pm till 4am!  The smaller room will shut down at 2pm since it will actually be in the Hilton.

One last surprise...Will have to wait till it has been confirmed.  Sorry!

I love it when people just post genres and act like we are going to obey them.  Good stuff. :)
dude i already fucking voted. I don't need that. I was just listing what could possibly be played. Please don't get snappy with me. That was really rude!
I do not like your tone.  THAT was rude.  You need to chill.  I meant nothing by it.  Guess you do not have a sense of humor. My bad.

It's Reign's event. He's the Captain Harlock here.
it doesn't matter. he shouldn't talk to people like that. So I will be just as rude back.
Uh, I wasn't being rude at all.  And how do you mean I should not talk to people like that?  Did I offend you?  Did I call you a name?  I don't know how I made you upset, but if you are just going to be a roonie poo, please keep it to yourself.

And who is Captain Harlock?
you don't need to call people names to be rude. Being rude can mean different things. Like your sarcasam is really rude. All I was doing was suggesting, not demanding.
I am not going to continue this with you.  I asked you to keep it to yourself, but obviously you cannot do that.  If you want to say I am rude, fine.

There will be one last update soon.  It's pretty major too.

Please PLEASE don't over play the hip hop pop. Dance is techno. Gah i just came home from my school dance and it FAILED. They didn't play ONE of my song requests. I even brought my ipod and ipod hook up. Maybe high schoolers don't like REAL dance music. IDK they played too many slow songs.

Our Dance is not just techno.  We try to offer a good variety of genres so everybody can have something to enjoy.  Last year there was not much hip hop, but this year I'll have something special for those who like hip hop.

And you should not be so critical on your school dance.  They only play what most kids listen to on the radio.  You should not say it was a failure because they did not play what YOU wanted to hear or what YOU requested.

Basshunter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OzWIFX8M-Y&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXKd7uuehlw and I just love this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7XoC4Tf_X8
TETRIS

There's really only one Tetris remix that deserves to be played, and I'm pretty sure 73% of you all haven't even heard it.

Couldn't you just reverse the format from best of 3 5 round matches to best of 5 3 round matches?  That's what they do for Soulcalibur IV tourneys, and I know this is not Soulcalibur IV, but it wouldn't hurt much, right?

Not everyone knows Hyphy either.

hyphy is overrated wanna be gang stuff now-a-days. i know it use to be like in the 70's i THINK is when it started i am not completely sure.

but this is related to raves, and a moderator said that this is a dance not a rave... calling it so may get it shut down. look for ewu's post in Dace Stuff i believe it is

They play hyphy music at raves now?  Has it really been THAT long since I went to a party?  Wait...I just played at a rave not too long ago...in Tennessee.  Didn't hear any there....Must be a bay area thing now?  Wait...Skills parties don't have any hyphy music....

The goal is to please everyone. If there's a type of music that's not to your liking, come back a little later. Let the people who like a certain type of genre have their chance to party. It's never fair to hog the dance floor.

And with that, I give you this little youtube video gem.

Dance attendees please watch this video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VU8P5WPZaI

I disagree.  The goal is NOT to please everyone for it is impossible to please everyone.  This has been proven time and time again.  Someone requested nerdcore, and I do not even know what nerdcore sounds like nor have I ever heard of that genre.  Is that a real genre?  And if so, where would you hear it?

The goal is to have a big enough variety that will appeal to everybody of all ages.  Last year we had a nice sized variety, and turned out very good.  In fact, there were quite a few people that came up to me and said "This year's dance was the best dance in a long time."  This time, there will be even more variety, and more...room?  And maybe an extra night?  I'll leave it at that for you people to wander what I am talking about. :)

And I can't believe I forgot about that video!  EVERYBODY who plans on attending Dance, you need to watch that video...Seriously.
