Wow, thats rare haha, had no clue..caught me in sneakers too (cause those boots were a killer on my feet) :P .  The guy I was following was my other friend, but he didn't have the U.B.C.S cosplay on at the time.

By the way..what are you guys using as weapons? last time I brought an airsoft rifle in and was told to bring it back to my room lol..so I'm trying to see if there is any other way to get a pistol/rifle that would compliment my cosplay..thanks in advance :)

That was me..I plan to finish all the little details by the end of this month hopefully..did a few changes mainly the vest..but yeah, I'm definitely down if there is a gathering :D

Hi guys, hope everything is well as we near the big day(s)! :)

Well, I had a quick question, perhaps someone could be of assistance. Well come May I (and my friends) will be cosplaying U.B.C.S (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service - Resident Evil-) members with a few tweaks to the wardrobe. Now, everything is going great, nice and smooth with only a few details to iron out..but one question remains.  We want some sort of gun or rifle replicas to compliment our wardrobe, the only problem is that it can't look alarming..or too realistic.  Last year I saw plenty with makeshift or plastic guns which were peace bonded (the makeshifts seemed free to wield, however).  I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to any sort of item that can be used as such? I'm trying to make sure if I have something on me, it looks fake enough not to be an issue I guess..so I don't have to go through that whole issue again as me and the others did last year.  Many thanks in advance, take care!

[Waltz for the Moon]

I didn't make it to the ball or the ballroom lessons this year, but I request Waltz for the Moon from Final Fantasy VIII, please.  If that wasn't on last year's songlist, I'm surprised and disappointed.  ;D

The dress code is a good idea, but I think very light and very dark colored costumes should be allowed, for flexibility.  Also, separating lessons into beginning, intermediate, and advanced would be great--I already know how to waltz, and it would be a bit pointless to learn the box step again.

I agree, that was a great song to waltz to..hopefully I will be able to attend the lessons this year..but if not..no biggie..there is always the next.

Fanime 2007 was the first time I ever went to an Anime Convention and did Cosplaying on Sunday! (Today!)  It was a pretty neat experience. Got a buncha hugs and people took pictures. :D And there was this one girl who took my picture, gave me a hug and kiss! :D It was the awesomeness. Anyways! Definately planning to go again next time.  8)

Oh, I was cosplaying as Cloud from AC. I was the one with the sorta puffy wig. It was a sorta bright yellow, more soft and puffy like instead of spikey.

I forgot to mention! I lost my camera before the Fanime Con, so I couldn't take any pictures soooo if anyone who took my picture could post it up so I could send it off to some friends? :D Thanks!

Fanime 2007 was the first time I've cosplayed as well.  I went suited up as one of the UBCS (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service) guys.  A lot of people thought I was Hunk due to the way I was masked lol..but I left it at a maybe.  In any case, it was certainly different and exiciting, its a sort of unique thrill I think you can't get anywhere else.  With that said, I'll definately cosplay again next year...as to what..I am yet unsure.

lol I wanna say hey to the UBCS guards that blocked the door and chased me and my friends outside, i think on friday or saturday night. :lol:  :)

I would have joined you guys in the cosplay but I couldnt find my uniform top...  :evil:  :(  next year I guess.

That was me (the one carrying Chi of course). I believe I remember that moment! It was me and two other of my Umbrella buddies. No worries though, there is always next year if anything. Enjoy and best wishes until then :P
