Also, i want to clarify, is art from our own studio ok, some of which is from a couple friends who are not behind my table (too crowded)? Are me and my friend allowed to have art from our other friends who are in the same studio? I think so, right? *lack of sleep*

I have a similar situation, so bumping this question!
I just want to make sure that this complies with the 2 artist per table rule? My friend who I'm sharing a table with kinda has a studio thing as well (she is registered and has a permit.) She has a friend that she collaborates with on some art, which they're planning to have sold..they're pretty much one "entity" and sharing a permit. So we're thinking of filing that friend as our helper. The set up is me (my own permit) + friend (collaborative, 1 permit). I'm just hoping this doesn't  go against the rules,..there's 2 main artists, and one helper/in-and-out artist-type.

Same question as Skuldchan, except I have a studio. Can my writer and web designer sell? They don't draw, so they don't have a portfolio, but they're still part of the studio and contribute to it in other aspects. I registered with the studio name, and we'll only be getting one seller's permit. Am I the only one allowed to represent the studio since I'm the only one who draws?

Ah, I was kinda wondering about this!
The artist I'm sharing a table with also collaborates with a friend who will be Fanime (we're going to register her as a helper, since she'll be there to help both of us out and to hang out). My friend is kinda the main artist on that front, but the both of them are kinda one entity, so they can share a permit. I just want to make sure this is okay, and it doesn't cross the line of the 2 artist per table rule? So the artists would be (me, 1 permit) + (their collaborative, 1 permit).

Yay! Thank you so much for the swift fix!!  :D

Also wondering, when do we actually pay for the registration (and is Thurs + Friday payment separate, or inclusive?) o.o? And I thought we also had to supply our badge/registration number?

Hi! I'm definitely interested in signing up for the Swap Meet this year, haven't before in previous years, so I have a few questions-

-Is it okay to buddy up with a friend? Or is it strictly one person per, erm, "plot" for lack of better phrasing?
-How much does it usually cost to register for the swap meet?

Thanks! And great thread!  :)

hi, i actually sent in my paperwork a few weeks ago and i haven't gotten a response yet so is there more in the AA registration process besides just "mailing it" or ... ?

I agree! I sent in my paper work several weeks ago, and I also emailed my contact information very early on this week. I haven't gotten a response yet either, and I am very anxious! I figure I'll ask about that here, instead of bombarding you guys with more emails, which I'm sure you have a lot of!

I recently heard Miyavi is going to be performing at Anime Matsuri in Texas (sometime in April). This maybe throwing it waayy out there, but any chance Fanime can get him? XD

UGGGH, tell me about it. When we were driving back from Fanime, heading back on the free way, it hit me. And it was soooo depressing..
Everything...everything just looked so...normal. The monotone buildings, cloudy skies, normally dressed people walking down the street...D8.

I MISS FANIME SO MUCH! The energy! The people! The randomness! This year was really good!

Now I'm back at school, back to reality, and it's so incredibly lame  :'(.

Also, I'm incredibly sleepy, I was so absent minded and fell asleep so many times during class XD.

Is it just me or does Fanime feel like..AGES AGO? It was just yesterday Q_Q

hello! this might have been asked already but i hope you guys can help me!

what papers/forms are we supposed to bring to the door when we check in? is it just our badge and seller's permit?

Be safe and bring your badge, seller's permit and a copy of the AA contract. :3 If you purchased your table at con, I would bring last year's receipt just in case as well.

And thank you imoto! I sure hope 1 hour is enough time to check in all the Artists... I'm sure it will be since so much paper work has been done ahead of time. ^^; w00t. Almost here~

What happens if you don't have or lost the copy of the AA contract, can you still check in? I thought that I have to check in with just the seller's permit and the badge.

Yeah, I thought so too? I don't have a copy of the AA contract either, since we mailed it in o_O;.

This is a kinda silly question, but just in case..

Where is the exact location where we register for our table?

Can anyone tell me what actually happens on the day of?  ???
Like, upon arrival to AA? XD? Do we need to sign in or anything/show our paper work, or can we just go right to our table and set up?

I've been going to fanime for a few years now, but this is my first time doing artist alley, I'm excited but also nervous!
Wahaha, also....I'm behind on getting things ready..8D. School is keeping me very busy @_@!
