Entering the dealers room at Fanime 2K for the first time and at my first convention. I entered a whole new world, literally, at that moment, full of awe, curiosity, and excitement being a fan of anime.
More recently, my other favorite convention moment didn't happen at a convention. It's registering for the FanimeCon forums (in 2001 at the exboards and 2002 on the bb forums), meeting friends, and continuing to have fun all year round.
Right as I got off my shift at Fanime '10, I started walking back to base and I saw some Lucky Star cosplayers posing for "panchira" shots. That really made my day.
Getting to meet Patrick Seitz at Persacon 2008. <3 Made my YEAR.
And getting called "The Perfect Renge" at Momocon 2010. <3 (Even if I did scare a few people with my laugh....)

My moment was FANIME 10! I got to go up on stage and Introduce Skits with Ric Meyers at the Masqurade! Very Very Awsome! Hope to get to do it again this year!

Fanime 09was my very first con so that was exciting, I got a ton of stuff-
fanime 10 was very disgruntling, I went with some people and we all cosplayed bleach characters-But they were all acting imature so it felt like i was babysitting!
and now fanime 11..I'm cosplaying as Scourge the hedgehog-This should be fun!

definitely less babysitting of friends and just focus on having fun! Woot.
Wondercon '09- Ran into an artist that I ADORE and he actually recognized me from me meeting him like 3 times prior to that! Totally made me SO happy for like a month straight.
@Fanime, just random stuff that I do in Reg. Like have all of the heads in the proximity wear a headband with fake hair curls and a bandanna attached to it. 8D

My favorite moment was when FLOW took a picture of the shirt I made when I was in line for autographs. Then discovering that they put the picture up on their blog on their official site (http://www.flow.mu/09/blog/index.php)! I was speechless when I saw it! Also, they commented on my Madoka pins that I bought from the Artist Alley. They're apparently Madoka Magica fans, too! They were so nice.

While there were many cute and epic moments, I'll pick FLOW's performance. 8D
I was so glad that hall was packed! The atmosphere was so friendly and upbeat, I have to say musicfest was even better than last year!
My only regret is not buying a CD or a T-shirt sooner, as they all sold out on Sunday.

I guess for a moment, it would have been meeting/seeing Momoi for the first time at AX. But that's hardly my favorite thing. My favorite thing is seeing all my maids smile and look so happy, become friends, and just feel so accomplished each year.

my favorite con moments this year (grumble grumble) -
the pissed off look of horror from all the people when I pulled the momoi set list off the monitor and almost crumpled it up to throw away..instead I gave it to some cute maid.
