Please do put me down as Alois Trancy. I'll be attending as Maid Alois, and my fiance will also be attending as Claude. It'll be a pleasure to take photos of everyone in the gathering. Oh, me and my fiance will be making muffins as well so please do set us down for bringing them. Oh, I must mention that they may be quite colorful on the inside. And depending on how many people show up to the gathering, we may also bring plates. Hopefully no one tries to take our cupcakes when we aren't looking. Just want to know for next year's Karaoke Contest's Preliminary Rounds and Final rounds. For both rounds, are we suppose to choose two different songs that fit both time limits? Or can we sing the same song, but as a TV version for the Prelims, and then the original whole song for the Finals?

Whoa! Already posting up a 2012 gathering? :] I absolutely LOVE Wolf's Rain <3 and needs more loving! I've been thinking about cosplays for 2012 already and I'm actually thinking about going as Toboe! So I'll most likely go to this gathering ^^

From my 2 experiences of the Black and White Ball of 2010 and 2011, 2011 was great, though I have to agree that the music was a bit off for a "Ball". A Ball is NOT a dance. But everything else was pretty nice, despite the small room. But the "Forget You" song wasn't...so formal. If it was a pop, then it would have to be an anime/j-pop genre of music. Dance lessons seemed pretty good, though private lessons is a must as well because some people may not have the time at home to look on online tutorials. But the ups about it was that the room was not so bad, beautiful decors and all. And the staff there were pretty nice, with dress codes and all. By god, 2010 ball staff, well this one girl in particular was absolutely RUDE. She was the rudest person I've ever met, and she literally had an ATTITUDE with everyone that wasn't formal. She, herself was not formal at all. I'm so glad they had nicer people that enforce the code correctly and politely. Though, I do agree rovers were a bit mean to the press, but they are just doing their job to try keeping things in hand. Anyway, it was slightly better this year, and the staff were definitely more polite. Music was alright, though needs to not have so many modern pop music, needs more music that people can ballroom dance to. I found that some of them were so hard to dance to...and even keep up.

2011 Ball ups: Beautiful decorations, video dance tutorials, some music, staff was nicer than last year.
2011 Ball downs: Semi-small room, modern pop (not japanese pop or anime genre or ballroom music), needed to have private lessons for some who don't have time at home to learn it.

Can't wait for Fanime next year! This year was just great, even better than the other years in my opinion, I mean it was kind of scattered around, but otherwise, everything was completely fine. It was fun and there were more attendees this year! Yay! But anyway, just posting on here to see if anyone got pics of me and my fiance :] We were both holding up the volunteer signs (and walking around) as TYL and artwork Mukuro, Gokudera, Chrome and Choice, TYL, and regular Hibari from Hitman Reborn. (It was really hot wearing suits around the con...but it was worth it!)

Me and my fiance didn't know there was a schedule change during con time and thought it was still at 11, still missed it though since we were recruiting volunteers for the Con...and running around as Hibari and Mukuro with Volunteer signs. :[ But I hope next year it will be around 2 pm! We'll be there next year for sure though! Hope someone can lead this awesome gathering again next year, seemed like so much fun...

Does anyone know how much is the final price before fanime? And at doors for the whole weekend?

Even it was smaller than we expected it to be...next year will be twice as better and bigger of course. Though we need to find a proper place to stay...like in the front so that everyone in the public will know where we are at :] Me and Hikaru will provide cakes next year as well. Really hoping we can have a bigger crowd to join in 'the cake eating contest'! But anyways, it was a pleasure to meet all of the hosts who went to the gathering. Sorry about the non-hyped-up twins this year ha ha...we were in drag....pretty drag XD didn't want to make such a mess...but next year for sure, we will be up and running again!
