So I'd most likely be Agito or Ume lol. And I also got my friend to be Mikan as well. Helping to bump this gathering up because Air Gear rocks.

Totally did not see this thread..ha ha. But I will be attending this gathering. Though, I don't know who I would cosplay as. I'll come as either Agito, Ume, or Kururu (blond hair kururu XD).

Yay! ;3;

And if my friend's are cosplaying as Air Gear again, they will probably come as well ha ha. ^^

I'll PM it to you a week before Fanime
Alright, thanks Heero.
Just call me Matthew.

Alrighty then, Matthew. I believe you've added me on Facebook correct? You can send me messages through there if you'd like ha ha. Me and Hikaru are really looking forward to seeing everyone again, and even the new coming cosplayers of Ouran as well. -smiles- Don't forget to update us about your guy's Ouran panel!

Here's the map that I posted awhile back in this thread:

I'm glad that you'll be making this year, mommy's going to be real happy when he hears the news :)

Ahh, I am very confused by the map -sigh- I am not familiar with it as much. If you see me in a poofy green dress, just shout at me and Hikaru. You should notice us in drag...shouldn't be hard to notice ha ha.

The panel will be at Fanime...the only reason for the SoCal part is because it was originally founded in SoCal but we're expanding to all parts of Cali. I hope to see you at the panel!

Really? I see. I'm seriously going to check your guy's panel out then! :] where will it be at?

SoCal Host Club Informational Panel thread

That sounds really interesting..though I can not make it to Socal atm. It would be interesting to take a peak. Will you guys be appearing at a Fanime panel by any chance? If you guys are making one there.

If my friend can make it to this gathering, I will too. So set us down for Ouran's Hikaru and Kaoru (me) :] We'll be in their onee-chan dresses.

I'm fine with either days for Fri-Mon. :] Any time is fine as well, just tell me what time and I'll be there with dear Hikaru.

Well there are already websites dedicated to helping you out with your problem
http://www.entropyhouse.com/penwiper/costumes/helmsdeep.html is an example of such a site.

For most armor building is revolved around using craft foam and/or polystyrene sheets. But of course a lot of the websites for prop armor making are suggestions you can do to go about it. Also keep in mind some methods may not be for you either in terms of resource gathering or usage of tools. So experiment with it and see what works for you.

In my case I built my first armor using a wire frame base. Although it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped it is still a developing skill  in progress.

Oh wow, thanks for the link, Lunar! That REALLY helps a whole lot! ^ ^ I'll definitely try that out.

So i'm planning to make this armor-like cosplay from Shaman King's Nichom.
And I've never made armor before, but I had a few ideas in mind on how to make it, although I am not quite sure about it.
The armor-like cosplay is this:

I was thinking of using and cutting up cardboard and then masking taping it...but then I would like to know what I should use over it so I can put in the details on it etc. I know clay would do, but it is also very expensive to buy that much clay. Is there any kind of plastic which you can mold on it? Or anything that isn't so expensive in making it? All advices are welcome! :]

It comes with the headdress and dress only D: petticoat is no longer with me. It is still like new, only worn a few times. It will be $100 straight and final. You pick it up or else we'll make some delivery plans and such, so it'd be plus shipping. But if you'd like to pick it up from my area (I live in Stockton) then you may text me or message me here if you'd like to pick it up. My number is 209-670-5573. I accept cash (when picking it up from me) or paypal.

This is what it looks like (got it from that site) :

And this is a real pic of me in the lolita if you want to see:
