Mhmm, Yes what Angel Said. lol Iam the Orginizer of
the Kingdom Hearts gathering and Xion is helping me
with it. But yes, the KH gathering is on Saturday 12:30pm,
at the HILTON hotel, in the shady area where I will be
standing there with my mother, and Xion before the
KH gathering starts. This thread can still go on with my
permission and BSaphire's permission. So, if your also a
Kingdom Hearts cosplayer and would like to attend this
gathering, tell Cloud which KH character your going to
attend as and he will put you on the list. Thank you

As for Photoshots, I'd like a bit of Yaoiness in it. Something
like with me and A Sora kissing for a photo, or have us all
in a Group together with everyone in it, or have a picture
of all the Sora's and Riku's in it. That'd be nice. ^_^
As for Events, If you could update this to, I'd like
to play games with all of our Kingdom Hearts
members of the Gathering. Games like Goldfish,
(Whoever can bring cards to play with that'd be
great!) Ummm, If anyone wants to give us ideas

Hey Xion I got some good news and bad news!!
Well, Good news is that I got my mom to finally
get me in a Hotel! Bad news is that I wont be
staying at Hilton or the Fairmont Hotel, but I
will be staying in another Hotel which isn't the
Hilton or Fairmont, it will be in another Hotel
called the DoubleTree Hotel that is near the
Hilton Hotel and the con, so I will still get to
go to the convention, for Friday and Saturday!

Even though Im not too happy at not
being in the same Hotel as the cosplayers..-sob- But
I least I get a nice Hotel which is Nicer then the Hilton
and Fairmont, and get to stay for two whole days!

have to pay to register..?

it was pretty sunny that day on Sunday.
The day I was really upset that I couldn't go to the Cherry Blossom Festival,
but Im over it. My mom said it was either the CBF, or Fanime. But she
registered a Hotel room for me, her and my dad, so thats one reason I couldn't
go see you at the Festival. Pluss she had to work that day, and there was a
Wedding that day at her work. (Ugh I hate weddings. Well, Don't hate, just
jealous of them. lol)
(Aww, Im sorry it was hot that day! But that was a good thing, right?
I hope you took pictures, I wanna see the festival and how it went!)
Of corse we are up for Fanime! Awsomesauce, we should

It's a miracle I've got a Terra and Aqua to go with it too, but my cosplay partners were really on the lookout for trios since the start of this year, and KH starts with a 'K' which went nicely with our insane idea to do costumes in alphabetical order. (that idea mostly fell through, though. There aren't enough cons to keep us motivated.)

Well, we're on the official gatherings list, so I can't imagine the gathering is in any real trouble. (They're confirming the gatherings in that thread now, you should probably post to confirm the time/location and number of attendees and the like there regardless)
I know what you mean about feeling ignored. I PMed BSaphire a while ago about the FMA gathering and she hasn't gotten back to me either. I'm trying to take over as organizer for that gathering, so it's kind of freaking me out XD;

@Krispy: What I used for my Keyblade is basically a wooden stick... thing (its obviously thick enough to not break) as the base of the Keyblade and styrofoam for the handles and the actual blade. Then I used paper mache to smooth the edges a bit. Then I just painted it over. xD;
Though... I dunno if it will be the same for Ven's Keyblade. o3o; Its kinda... curvy looking. xD;

Mine's probably gonna have to be made out of cardboard. A friend of mine made a guitar by gluing together a stack of cardboard and then carving the shape and details out of that. It turned out REALLY nice! I've been meaning to try out that method myself, we'll see how it goes. (I'm gonna need more glue...)

Well, saying as how I'm no longer staying at the Hilton(DX) then anywhere is fine! ^^
I just wanted to let a couple of you know that I wasn't really ignoring cospeeps and sorry if it felt that way. I got really sick the beginning of April and I am still recovering from it. I managed to stay out of the hospital, but my cosplay plans have suffered because of it. Poor excuse I know, but I just wanted to appologize if you felt ignored, just trying to get better, stay on top of life and handle all that is this department. It looks to be a banner year of gatherings if it goes as planned which translates to lots of work!

the Kh gathering has changed due to
a few reasons. The Kh gathering is now
going to be moved to 1FCC LA = 1st Floor
Convention Center (Lobby Area by center
pillar just inside the entrance). So
yeah, thats where the Kh gathering is sapposedly
going to be held at now. If you have any questions
about the Kh gathering, you can let me know by
posting here in the thread or Pm me. Iam active
alot, and check my messages everyday on this site.

With the #'s of attending you provided for confirmation you should be fine @ 1FCC LA for the gathering. I think the first post needs to be updated to reflect the change in location though.
I also noticed you were asking about events and in that particular location there are not a lot of events you can do, however there are three listed events, going on Saturday, that are open to all cosplayers. You might want your group to join into one of those. I also remember there being mention of part of your group in the Cosplay Masq, and if that is still true then they may not be able to attend the event portion due to any obligations they may have for their Cosplay Masq performance.

I would get it online and save the $$$ off the at con price (not to mention the Very VERY long line that happens on Saturday For @ CON Registration. I think is $60 wknd but if that pre con price is still available. I would do that ASAP if you want to Pre Reg for Fanime.

Did anyone enjoy the Kingdom Hearts
gathering? I sure did! But I kinda got
there late, and Iam sorry for that guys.
I only got there on time for the Kh photo
shoots...I feel so stupid for not being
early for the Kh gathering since Iam the
orginizer of the Kh gathering. Some

Angelx624: Yes, The Gathering was fun! Except the only
thing I hated about it, was when I was late to my Kh
gathering, and when my mom was rushing me to stay
with my cousin, and that I had to find my cousin like,
two times! That, and pluss I could't buy anything from
the dealers rooms since I was with you and Sora looking
for my cousin, and that I didn't want to leave the con
Sunday morning...I was crying when I had to leave! ;w;
The only fun thing about Fanime convention was when
I arrived there, looking at all the different cosplayers,
took the photoshoots with my Kh gathering, meeting
Xion, Sora and Kairi, and all the Kh people there, walking
around the convention and looking at the things and art
in the dealers rooms, listening to people playing randum
trance music in the con, xD The Models on Stage Zero,
and the Plays/Skits on stage in the auditorium.
It was a blast! =D

I just wanted to say to everyone that attended the KH gathering that my staff was really happy to see the turn out.
The person you are referencing was one of my staff members. Most of us have played KH, and love it, so when the organizer missed check in we wanted to make sure everything was working and everyone had a great gathering. I will pass along to Kirsten that you liked what she did, but everyone should know that you guys were great to work with for her and that was the first gathering she had ever run @ a con. She was worried that she didn't do a good enough job. Thank you for making it easy on her and maybe she will do it again.
It was her first time on staff and her first time working a gathering. Being shy, like many of you, she wasn't sure if everyone would be mad @ her if she stepped in. I am sooo glad to hear that things went well.

next convention. But I have to say, This years Fanime
was the biggest, with most cosplayers I have ever
seen in my life! I will never forget such a fun time

She should be proud of herself :] At least this year I learned from her as well as the other Gatherings how to... well.. lead a Gathering.

@Riku: Oh really? Same, same. I was taking a mini photo shoot while the KH Gathering was going on. It was pretty sweet because I've never had a photo shoot before. xD; Pretty awesome. :3 And, ohhhh. I know what you mean. I wanted to hang out with my friends as much as I want to hang out with my online friends. It turns out I hung out with my friends more, which was a good thing because I hardly got to last year ^^;
