everytime I saw them, there were no rovers, as I kept running into them outside of the con.

I was one of the Rovers assigned to LM.C duty over the weekend. We were fully prepared to escort them everywhere they went inside and outside of their events, but they specifically requested no security detail at every turn. They were very nice and polite about it though. We caught them roaming the con alone on Saturday night personally handing out fliers for their concert and the related events for Fanime. We let them do their thing, but still kept a watch on them from a distance, just in case. ^^

They put on a really good show. I had never actually heard of them before this. I caught myself watching more of the concert than the crowd at some points. It was hard not to though, being at the very front of the action. :)

Overall the crowd stayed in check better than expected, although there were some cases where I had to tell people they had to go back to their seats.

There were people waiting since 6am for the LM.C autographs? Nice. The girl at the front of the concert line told us that her and her group had been waiting at the front of the line since 9pm the previous day, lol. Talk about hard core fans.

Mmm.. I have to finish up school work before I can get working on these.  It'll probably be a loooong night on Thursday.

On the plus side, I just found the box with all the old unclaimed 2009 badges.

I unfortunately don't have an Artist Alley table this year.  Is there a Forum gathering I can go to instead?

Well, the forum meet at 11am at stage zero would be okay. If not, I'm in Rovers and you could always get a Rover to pay for it for me. Most of us wont be checking the forums after today, so I dunno where you plan to go, but I do hope I get mine. ^^;

Okay...I will try to make that time and place. Although stage zero during that time frame is gonna be pretty crowded. ^^;

I reduced my "camping" time and went prowling around the perimeter of the maps. Best piece of advice I ever got. My kills/death ratio has improved significantly, but I'm still not good enough for a nuke, yet. It's always close but no cigar, some guy always kills me when I'm shooting the AC130.

I usually use:

Primary: FAL-Silenced and Halo Scope
Secondary: Raffica-Silenced and Red Dot Scope
Equipment: Semtex
Special Equipment: Flash Grenade
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro
Death Streak: Martyrdom

Kill Streaks:
Harrier Strike
AC130
Tactical Nuke

In my opinion your first mistake is choosing the AC130 over the Chopper Gunner, but that's just my personal opinion. Chopper Gunners may get shot down faster, but they also kill people faster and you don't have to wait for reload times or for the shells to reach the ground and explode.

Also, once you get your AC130 or Chopper Gunner, the first thing you gotta do is find a legit place to hide without being killed. Low traffic areas in a spot that not many people care to look. Like, prone in some bushes, a dark corner, in the far corner of a map that nobody really goes to.... etc etc. The first time I got a nuke I was in Scrapyard. I used my Chopper Gunner while crouched in a corner of the large Warehouse, right in the middle of the enemy spawn area. I was lucky enough to not even be noticed and got the nuke unlocked before I was finally killed. Fun times.

Yes, camping is bad. Camping just gets you killed faster in my opinion, unless you have teammates backing you up. Playing in a pub match and trying to camp will never get you a nuke unless the other team is full of retards. Camping *could* be okay if you limit it to area camping. In that you kill someone in a room or small area and change locations. Most likely they will come back and expect you to be in the same place.

Another hugely successful tactic for me, is flanking. If your team is pushing the enemy at one side of the map, then try circling around the entire map and most times you will catch the enemy off guard from the back. You are more likely to complete this the faster you can run to flank. So speed can be a factor. Also, firing your gun off will alert the enemy to your position on the map. If you can avoid using your gun, do so and knife the enemies you sneak up on. I always had fun with this tactic on Afghan.

Also, sometimes most people will avoid running straight up the middle of a map because it can be dangerous. But, since most players know this, they run up the sides of a map instead. The enemies expect this and are mostly prepared for this tactic on maps like Afghan. However, most people will be caught off guard if you can sneak a quick run through the middle of the map and then pull off a flank tactic once you get behind them.

For example: Your team is spawning near the cave side of Afghan. The other team is on the other side in the bunkers. Your team is pushing up the right side, while some might even be trying to run around the left side the long way. Your team might even make it to the bunker entrance, but pushing all the way through can be difficult with enemies posted there. If you instead avoid the door to the bunker and run to the left, following the wall... then most likely the sentries in the left side bunker will not see you coming. You follow the wall around and immediately make the right turn up the stairs inside the bunker and knife anything in the room. If you took fire going into the room from the field, you can crouch and wait in the room facing the door and kill anyone who enters. Or you can run out to the right and circle around to help your team push through. Tons of fun. ;D

I haven't played this game in months though...... maybe people have gotten better. ::)

Granted. You once had an octo-Luka. However, you don't know what happened to it.

I wish I got paid $200 dollars an hour.
