When I'm taking a shower or bath and I smell food like steak or meats being cooked coming through the window. It just makes me feel dirty again, like my hair sucks up the aroma of meat and the fragrance of soap disappears.

My boyfriend thinks its weird, but it something that really bugs me for some reason D:<

And maybe another group photo

What about characters who aren't vocaloids?

I hate to be the guy that conflicts with the time but I've got the MegaTen gathering at 1:30PM on Saturday. The good thing is I'm using the white suit for both that and Arakawa, but would it be possible to push the Arakawa gathering to 2:30? That gives me enough time to change my shirt and grab my bird head.

I think that would be fine as well! I would simply not want it any later than 4 o'clock for sure, so I believe 2:30 will be fine, hopefully it doesn't conflict with anyone else's schedule :3

I have just look through many of the other gathering threads who usually have a very large amount of cosplayers and most of them seem to be meeting on Sunday so I think Saturday would be fine. So I would think 2pm on Saturday might work for many others.

I was really anxious about going so I stayed home because I'm horrible with talking to new people.

And the first thing I noticed in the photo was that everyone is wearing jeans!

AHH I'm glad I wasn't the only one that noticed. It was kind of silly how they can make a mistake like that, it's either they don't have enough money for the production value to have people who actually researchers through details and make sure that there aren't minor mix ups like that or they really think it's some special edition of DDR.

When I first heard of it, I try to stay as far away from it as I could, and then found out a cosplay friend of mine participated as a contestant. I watched it just to see her in it, but then I finished the episodes before knowing. I really wish they didn't use the term otaku as well, females are fujoshi!

I just feel like the creator of tokyopop doesn't really know what he's doing with his own show.

I don't have a suggestion for time yet because I don't know what my schedule will be like, but whatever the time, I'm sure I can squeeze some in face time with everyone. (^-^)

Are we still good for Sunday, or do we want to change to Saturday? BOTH Masq and Ball are scheduled for Sunday night; Musicfest is on Saturday (if that helps you plan out any)

The masquerade is Sunday this year? I thought it has always been Saturday :O

I will be cosplaying as Chii from Chobits and I will definitely make it to the gathering depending on which day it is held = w=

I'll have a Maria costume with me so I'd like to attend if possible. :) I'm trying to also find a 9 piece military belt. My boyfriend may be attending as Sister but we'll see. He will likely have two costumes, one in the nun costume and one in military fatigues from the ending of Bridge Bridge x 2.

I'm planning to go as Araragi Koyomi from Bakemonogatari, and I haven't come across a Bakemonogatari or Shaft gathering. =[

Hmmm, I will think about it since both the series in anime are still quite recent, but also, the two series also do not have much in common besides some of the humor. I will consider it, but have you thought about starting your own gathering? Because then maybe you will know how many others would like to participate and if it's not enough to create an official gathering (I think you need at least ten cosplayers) we can join arms and form our cosplayers together (:

That would be a great idea! If anyone cosplays as Amazoness, I think it would look so cool. If your friends and you make it official on cosplaying as the tengu, please come to the gathering :D

Yay, I'm glad someone is putting a gathering for this together. If I had the budget, I'd put together a Jacqueline or something, but I'll be too broke. Looking forward to coming to see everyone and cheer you on! I'm crossing my fingers for a good Hoshi, Sonchou, or Amazoness cosplayer.  :)

I always wanted to go to the black and white ball, but I didn't know people were friendly enough to ask others to dance, I guess this is a good and bad thing depending if you meet the right people ):

I was reading this and thinking, "I had some pretty bad experiences, but I gotten over all of the- waaaaaait..." and then I remembered about five years ago, my first year at fanime, I was crying my eyes out because of something that happened so I sat down against the wall on the second floor where the stair entrance was and then a man came up to me and asked if he could photograph me. I was still crying when he asked me this and I answered "No, sorry, I've been crying." and he looked at me confused as to why I replied negatively and says "oh oh I see, you're crying?" At this point, I was speechless, and I was still crying so I started looking at my feet again and the man was still standing there watching me. And then he ask, "Can I take a picture of you when you're done crying?" I don't remember much after that... I might have cried more or my friend found me.
