I met a girl playing a Harmonica in front of Fanime May 26th, Saturday. She had a cup for collecting change and other tips people would give her as she played her Harmonica inside a Haruhi Style School Uniform. You were gentle and kind enough to allow me to take a picture. I left a fair tip, I wish it was a larger bill. My true regret was not offering you my phone number or a name. I would love to hear your Harmonica one more time, Harmonica Girl.
Even though I just met you, and it might have been crazy, I wish you would call me, maybe, Harmonica Girl.

She's my best friend/daughter. :) I'll let her know she has a fan. She wants to remain anonymous (other than Harmonica Girl). She practices new anime/game songs every year to just play at Fanime and Sac-Animes.

Are there youtube videos of her playing at least? She doesn't have to show herself playing.

I'm between the depression and acceptance phases. I'm sad Fanime 2012 is over, but am already planning out 2013. ^^ I'm excited for next year's theme, which is Gothic Fairy Tale. :'D One thing comes to mind when I think of the theme, and it's definitely helping me plan out my cosplays. ^____^

I'm in the same mood minus the cosplay. Also debating working as a dealer or being a volunteer.

I really like the idea of tournaments. you can even have a tournament happen at once per day while other games are just going on themselves, keeping major rules to that tournament and less nazish on the single games

A good idea. Just a tourney to see who is superior, fun or for a prize?

Honestly, I've never played Persona, so I have no idea what this would entail or what the difference would be. could you elaborate further?

Also, Persona is kind of a niche game (it's something I'd like to try but haven't gotten around to yet, but a lot of people probably don't know about it or care), so I'm afraid that by making a large event specifically Persona-themed, it would turn a lot of people off.

So pretty much he just wants to change the look of the room. From what it normally looks like to mostly blue.

At the time, our view was keeping to the rules avoided the slippery slope.

The game's very different from back then in terms of the gray area of "1 move" and asking people to go back to the old style may make the game seem dull in comparison.

I understand. I did do somethings to make it challenging though (play wearing handcuffs) but the fact that games went on forever and that they forgot who goes next...

They taste great! According to my sibling, like cookie dough. To me, sweet.

A girl told me you can buy them from a dollar store in San Francisco and I've seen Japanese sites advertise them. Also Ebay!

I'd welcome it. We just need someone who can play Aria of the Soul as well as someone willing to dress up and MC as Igor. There ARE jazzy versions of Persona songs ready to be danced too so it would be cool.

As the guy who was teaching how to play ninja to the new players, (I had a dealers badge and played from a chair at one point) they seem to have not liked the whole "take only one step rule" and did stupid things like taking 3 or 5 steps in a turn.

I'll be a ref if I'm not working next year although I had fun with the group that played for 4-6 hours.

Also Erich if you're reading this, I am waiting to join the fanime ninja group :p
when it started back in what, 2009 ? 2010? there were so many people playing it but now, it has declined cause people dont know how to play or listen to rules :l
In case you need reference on the rules and how it used to be played in 2009, here's us when we first brought it to Fanime:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCXZwe2pks8

I know the rules and played how it was supposed to be played, its the fact that people break the rules on their own that I can't control. In the end, even though I told them all the rules in detail they still break them. I'll type up a rule list for next year and make em read it so I don't need to re-explain everything 5 times a night.

To Heidi and her friends Max and Serafina cosplaying as Liz Thompson, sorry I couldn't meet you at the B&W ball. An unexpected emergency came up. I don't expect you to read this but it would have been fun to dance with you!

did you guys remember that boy playing ninja who blocked really good in the blue cat jacket?

And i think ninja was a fun game with lots of space too as we moved to the back!

The guy with the huge kitten paws?
Also what did you wear? I was the dude who played from a chair at one point in the front. During the last night I was the guy who played in a white plaid shirt with a green purse.
