West Coast Itasha would be awesome to see at fanime this year. they had a really cool display at Kraken Con and Japan Expo.

the one at kraken con was a joke, having had to work with srp at kraken con, i was personally mistreated and attacked by srps owner, told that our equipment was not good enough and told we had to pay srp to bring their own equipment. they demanded payment before even setting anything up, and then screwed over the djs by telling eveyone that the days events were over when there was still a dance.

we had to go with the focus simply because chp said we couldnt make it look identical to a police car, there were a lot of meetings between chp and different local police chiefs to get that car done
fb link fixed
and we sent them an email but have heard nothing back last year we talked to them about it through the forum.

we have three cars in the works, the resident evil car was unveiled early, it still has a lot more vinyl to go on it, by the time we are done it will look like it was attacked, cant anyone appreciate the before and after effect resident evil has, nothing stays new and intact long.
and im a little confused about what your referring to by us setting the bar lower, these are images from when the cars where displayed recently, they are ny no means finished, theres still a lot of lighting to go into the stars car, as well as the finer details on the SAO car. only problem is we havent found the best material to use for those finer details on the sword art car.

to address your every day car comment, these two cars in particular are anything but, considering the escape has been done inside and out as well as having a custom Roush tuning on the engine. its the passion that matters not just the outside, but the insides of each car as well.

Ideas and Suggestions / West Coast Itasha at Fanime 2015

Im once again bringing to the table the proposal to bring West Coast Itasha to Fanime as a guest, this time we have a number of cars we are able to bring that range from anime to video games. Our experience includes being sponsors for Kraken Con, Guests and Dj at Japan Expo, being in the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Parade, and coming out to numerous car shows and cosplay gatherings. https://www.facebook.com/pages/West-Coast-Itasha/396702047053514

yes that is Matt Mercer (Leon in Resident Evil) posing with the car

and we currently have 3 new cars currently being designed and prepped for vinyl application.

im just hoping fanime understands what having us as guests means, sadly we wont be at SacAnime since dans idea of having us as guests involves us paying him to let us display the cars, and not even getting comped or even discounted badges in return. we never asked to be paid to make an appearance, so why should we be told we have to pay them to let us display. At least Fanime knows how to treat people when they offer to come from out of state to display their stuff at their event.

We have been exchanging emails with Fanime's head of marketing for a couple years now and we are all keeping our fingers crossed for 2014, since the construction prevented us from doing anything at 2013

I think it would be cool if we could display the Itasha cars at Fanime 2014. We are growing in popularity and have a significant fan base worldwide. we also have the only Sword art Online car signed by over half of the main English cast.

my question is hotel parking, whats the rates for these hotels that are at fanime that? last year i paid $40 a day for parking $20 at the hotel and $20 at fanime. is there a cheaper way to do the parking?

one of the reasons i still have my old psp-1000 series is because with the custom firmware it can be used as a universal remote. all you need is a laptop or computer and an internet connection and the brand of the tv in the hotel room and your all set.
