Well, cosplay isn't exactly meant to be done to get attention from people. I'm sure plenty of people noticed you and recognized the cosplay, but since it's such a popular/well-known/old/historical hentai series, it probably felt expected and you blended right in.
Yeah, I recognized the uniform design as well, and I do believe I saw you as I was walking around con. I didn't want to make a comment in the case I might get it wrong. That would have been awkward.

It's like cosplaying Naruto, though. Everyone will already know who you're cosplaying and where you're from, but not necessarily go up to you about it. If you want to meet people, actively do so. As for cosplay, do it for the sake of having fun-- not people showering you with attention, compliments, and photo requests.

I'm staying on topic and explaining why she shouldn't be upset if people don't give her the attention she was expected from her cosplaying. Since it was her first time, and she was surprised as to why, I'm explaining it. I'm not insulting her, or saying that she did anything wrong. There was confusion, I pointed out explanations. She though that no one had noticed her, I'm letting her know that she was. If that isn't allowed, then there really wasn't a point to this thread.

And as for asking people to help you find photos of it, you'd probably have more luck posting a thread in the Cosplay section instead of General Convention Discussion.
