allergy sniffles and sneezes. i'll be fine, then once i step out of my car in san jose i sneeze a lot. i get back indoors and i'm fine again.

I didn't prepare for the cold weather (shirts and shorts and cloudy weather DO NOT mix), so, yeah.
Took some NyQuil last night to stfu my coughing, and holy shit, this morning I kept going back to sleep.
I have hives in extreme temperatures...and it's annoying.
Allergies also don't help my hives...*sighs*
I heard about 7 people (myself included) that people were coming down with something...
I heard something was going around, but I'm 'mostly' over whatever i got, but I had a sore throat from line control all weekend :p

Also, this pretty much happens to a lot of people after cons..what most would call the "con cold."
D: My first time getting sick after Fanime.
I had a rough throat on Monday but then I thought it was nothing. Fell asleep and woke up Monday night and I was totally gone with a sore throat and am still sort of recovering from the bulk of it. D:

this slowly started on sunday night of the con, but basically:
semi-runny nose, massive mucus buildup(especially in the morning), headache(it comes and goes), sore throat, cough.
I've been achey and running a low-grade fever since I got back, but I was stuck on a four-hour flight next to some guy who spent the ENTIRE TRIP coughing and sneezing all over everything, so I suspect he's more to blame than anything I picked up at the con. ><
Oh, right, and I got a minor migraine for the entire day today, as well as a funky throat. o.0
But then again, a lot of it could be due to stress. D:< Stupid finals.

well I wasn't sick at Fanime, my throat was a little creaky on Friday, but I was sick a week or so before Fanime.
I've been having a nasty congestion and trouble breathing...but I doubt it's from the con. Stress isn't helping me either.

But stuff DOES tend to linger.
Anyway I am starting to fell better. My sore throat it do to the fact that I am eating ice cream at the moment.
I usually have a shot of whiskey for a cold, and hot tatte for flu like symptons, and tea for congestion. ^.^ Lots of tea....lol
But My breathing has just been aweful today! I hope I didn't suddenly develope something bad. @.@
Yea, the Con-Cold thing has been happening to me for several years now. I just attribute it to exhaustion.
Got sick before the con, I was pissed. It cleared up during the con though and It hasn't hit me yet and I hope it doesn't either.
I usually get sick before the con, after the con I don't get sick unless it's about a week or 2 that's when I get sick but so far I'm not sick yet.

nope. my allergies consist of sniffles, sneezing, and irritated eyes.
all of which i don't see as a big deal. i just deal with it. :)
as soon as the con was over i got a cold... i prolly started the whole epidemic... im surry
Big time allergies for the last two weeks or so. No thanks to this screwy weather in Southern California. :P
lol i came home and i was all sick every year i come from fanime sick
I started showing symptoms a few days ago and am still dealing with the cold. Unfortunately, they weren't letting anyone call in sick at work this past week, so no rest for me until tomorrow (my regular day off) :(
I'm totally felling well right now. I only seem to get sick during the winter months, but it always comes and goes.

It's not that we've got shitty immune systems. Normally, mine is pretty damn good and even when I do get sick, I'm over it in a day or so. However, we're talking about a con environment, where you have thousands of people staying in enclosed spaces. Perfect environment for bugs to spread like wildfire (hell, even if it was down to just hundreds of people, it'd still be a good environment for bugs to spread). It's very common for convention-goers to get some sort of bug while at a con, and has been so for years and years.
I have a sinus infection from all the crap blowing around up here where I live. @_@

It's why I can't complain about how "cold" 65 degrees is around, say, people in England, because their summers are in the 60s.
The day after fanime ends, I get a two week cold... Strange, ne?
