Er...If it's after the Naruto Gathering. I can go as deidara, but of course, not in akatsuki xD since I will be not so ninja-like. But deidara is still a ninja so yeah xP Hm...if it was on Sunday, It'll be fine...depends. Just put me down as Deidara for now. If the pirate side is pirates in general and not just anime "pirates" then I might join in depending on the time and day, if only because my renisance costume keeps getting mistaken for pirate.

lol Well, I'm a big DBZ guru so you caught my eye, plus the more fun we have with it, the better.
Eh I'm not to into having dbz characters in but I think my opinion will change as we see who is accually coming and the pirate side might accually need the dbz help :(

Depending on when the gathering will be, I'll be there in either a One Piece cosplay or another pirate outfit.
pishaw! The only reason my piratey group didn't come last year is because we got held up in our hotel by Captain Morgan.

But we'll likely crash the ninja gathering that this seems to be, and as long as no one minds etting their costumes wet or anything, we could have a water fight.

Not to be the proverbial wet blanket, but if you're doing this, I ask that you're very careful about both warning people before you start and making sure you limit the involvement -- including collateral damage -- to only those people who are willing. There are a LOT of people out there whose costumes contain fabrics or other elements that could be severely damaged by water, and who I'm sure would be quite unhappy to get caught in crossfire.

On the gathering list it says this gathering is scheduled for 12, is that correct? I'm asking because we have some big group for one piece this year and some pretty big costumes coming. It will take longer than just a half hour for us to finish, especially since not everyone will be there on time. If its at 12 then we will be late cuz i want to make sure everyone gets the pictures they want. the poll says most people wanted after the naruto gathering, is that still an option?

actually it's after the one piece gathering but the naruto gathering is right after it, and i mean literally right after...
i'm having a conflict myself..

but they have the naruto picnic after the shoot anyways, so if i miss the shoot i was planning on just going there ^_^

I checked the gatherings list and the time scheduled is correct. When I scheduled the time I had forgotten about the poll. Im sorry but I had chose 12 pm because its in between both the Naruto and One Piece gatherings. I didn't do after the Naruto gathering because I wasn't sure if it would conflict with the Naruto Picnic.

I used to play something similar with the family that involved leather bound cups and dice. But that was a looooong time ago. I may eventually remember when I get to playing. :D

Mine are the POTC themed cups and dice game thingy. (Cuz I am such a nerd and HAD to have that set) Gramma doesn't want me to bring the real leather "cups" and the wood dice.
IMO The leather and wooden dice makes for better rolling of the dice. But I'll get shot if I take the good set. lol
Never played so this should be interesting.

i tell u why you could not find it.
because it lasted a total of 5 secs lol.
there was a pose of luffy v naruto
and a pose of me (zoro) v Zabuza

And in those five seconds I had to run off to see someone, then run off again to change into my ninja costume. I left before I got to beat up any ninjas as a pirate, and got back when it was too late to beat up pirates as a ninja. But next year, I'll be sure to deal out double the beating to whichever side happens to oppose me!

I was looking over at the over gathering too...But like you said [haggyhog] it didn't last very long. :/
For next year I have other locations in mind to have the gathering. So hopefully next year everything will do better. Also if you want you can give me ideas for poses and I'll make a list of ones to do at the gathering. Thanks ;D
I'll be a Rover next year, and it'd be my first time as one. So I dunno what will happen next fanime, schedule wise. I know I'd be able to tell people most of what's going on at what time and where though!

So - once you announce what day, what time, and where Pirates vs. Ninja will be held, I'll post whether or not my group of Ninja can participate.
Btw - if you're the Pink Haired Sasuke that I'm thinking of (assuming there is only one), then my group is the Deidara, Tobi, Shippuden Gaara group that hung out with your group at Fanime 2009... I'm sure you'll remember us, if you you're the right one.
SInce you have a severe lack of Pirates... seems like it might be a smart idea to put it after a One Piece gathering. Just a thought. :)

We definately need more Pirates for the gathering.
its like this every year and it never fails that a good amount of pirates aways seem to show up anyway ^_^
I imagine a lot of pirates just aren't posting on this forum and they will show up. I'm not too worried about them showing up. :)

Also, I updated the front page with the meeting location. I wasn't able to make deadline so this gathering won't be on the list at Fanime but it will be happening! Spread the word!

i wrote the time down wrong, and didnt have my laptops at the convention... so if you saw a random cowboy walking around, looking confused...

Fanime tickets are now on sale so I'll be posting regularly with updates and ideas. Any ideas people have would be much appreciated. Another thing we need is a new banner as you can tell haha Anyone who's a good artist or good with photoshop or if you just want to draw, can make a banner if they like.
