If you can afford it T_T;;; seems like now would be a good time to go to Japan (for spending, that is).
Currently it's
$1 USD = ¥100.68 JPY
I think the last time I went it was closer to ¥120. Their economy isn't doing very well either right now (whether or not it's tied in with our own economic slump is beyond my fiscal knowledge lol)
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Oh yeah, when a nation of consumers suddenly stops...well, consuming T_T all those countries that were exporting all our buy-ables pay the price as well, unfortunately.
I was actually thinking it's a little ironic how now that our money can get us more over there, we're all a little afraid of spending it lol
That's crazy it dropped below 100.

It's like, in Japan you get a soda for 100 yen. In the US you get that SAME soda for $1, right?
Right now, it's almost exactly like that, same amount of money and same product. Before, if you wanted to take your US money and get a soda in Japan, you'd have to throw in another $0.15-$0.25 or so to make that equivalent, see?
Things are a little expensive sometimes, yeah (like a soda actually being 110 yen or so), but it mostly depends on where you go. Just like in the states, stuff in New York is going to be more expensive than in Laramie, Wyoming or something.

Wait wait wait wait...
Are you guys stupid or something?
Now is a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE time to go to Japan. Let's talk simple math.
Okay
1$ = 100yen.
This means... if I trade in 100$ I get 10,000yen
Compared to
1$=120yen
Where if I trade in 100$ I get 12,000 yen.
12,000 yen is more than 10,000 yen isn't it?
Price fluctuations in Japan aren't as common as in America... so if you go now you're getting LESS YEN for your dollar, unless you already have a stockpile of yen somewhere. If you ALREADY HAVE YEN, then your Yen is worth more in terms of dollar amount. If you don't, then you have less in Yen.
God damn... seriously... what... the hell... is... wrong... with... you... people...
unless you were being sarcastic with the OP. If you were, you failed at delivery.
Some of you guys should try taking a simple econ class... or...
a math class.

The reason I accept PyronIkari.
Because he's not retarded like half of everyone else.
Btw, I never said I wanted to go to Japan at the current time. I did, but that was year or two ago.

But the post was sarcastic anyway because our economy is doing so terribly I don't think too many people can afford to travel internationally.
You do really need to ease up a bit though, you take everything like it's a huge battle for you to make your point.

lol I make enough mistakes to know by now it's better to admit them to try to back-track T_T it was a brain fart.
It sucks, since I've been out of school my math has gotten HORRIBLE (and that was my favorite subject). I should really start taking some classes again.

Vote Pocky,
As the Separatist Yan-Yans require you to actually put the frosting on, and Pocky just tastes better in more flavors.
BTW JohnnyAR, your dead from C4.
So you're telling me pocky is more suited for American fatasses who are too lazy to put in any effort to experience something totally awesome? I totally agree. :D
Yan-yan is totally more suited for the harder working group who take more glee from the reward of working for what they want. ;)
I think the real Question is what will the value of the dollar mean to the price of pocky (or Yan yans)?

You know, I've never actually had Pretz, so I might have to retract and hold my opinion until further investigation can be done.

No.
Eating a snack should not take any work. Candy, chips, etc, nearly all have no work involved besides opening the package, and raising them to your mouth.
I don't know about you, but I shouldn't have to work by dipping the stick into frosting (which is not as good as the Chocolate/ Strawberry/ etc on Pocky BTW) when I already payed with the money I worked for to get it.
Many hard working people love Pocky, as do lazy people. The point is that Pocky tastes better and takes less effort.
Less Effort + Better Tastes?
-OR-
More Effort + Not as great Taste?
I think the answer is obvious...

Actually, pocky doesn't taste better. The chocolate and other frosting they use is actually much poorer in quality. In general most chocolate made in Japan is inferior to other places. YanYan frosting is superior in that regard.
HOWEVER I'm glad you don't like shabu shabu, korean bbq/yakinikku, hot pot, or any kind of place like that. Because OBVIOUSLY... food shouldn't take work of any kind. Not just snacks. Toaster Strudels are for rookies, and pop tarts are superior some how right?
Both Pocky and YanYan are horrible products marketed at young children because they're simple, inexpensive, and "fun". The fact that you guys put so much into a child's snack that is rather POORLY MADE using subpar ingredients... is hillarious. The fact that people act as if Pocky is the greatest invention ever made, sickens me because it's obvious they're just retarded japophiles that would eat shit off a stick if it came from a Japanese company and was said to be popular. Oh wait... they already do that with Pocky... don't they?
There's a reason Pocky is only 50c a box and is marketed to kids. Kids are too stupid to realize it tastes like crap.
So, what does this say about you lot? Yan Yan isn't that much different either.
I tend to eat salty snacks. Different kinds of crackers and the such. You don't see me parading around telling people that they're so good, and acting like if you don't eat it, babies in Guatamala will explode... and I will foam at the mouth and scream at random people begging for it.
You're all a bunch of god damned idiots. Putting so much into a god damned children's sweets product that is incredibly unhealthy for you, despite tasting like mediocre crap. Just to let you know... if you bought a hershey bar and melted it, and bought sweet biscuit sticks at an Asian market you can make like 10 boxes worth for like 2.50, with actual good quality chocolate, and not horribly old processed flour and butter.

So, how's that value of the dollar research going?
Oh...and I don't eat sweets. Bad for the health.
I have dibs on fruit.
I'm thinking roughly 5 sticks/ dollar, using amounts of cream for cents. sticking a yan-yan stick into the dip is roughly 2/5 the length, so i think 2/5 dipped would count for 10 cents more, making 1 dipped stick worth 30 cents.
also, fuck planning out your scheme lt, instinct and impulse ftw. :D
I knew you Yan-Yan lovers were all bad.
This, means, WAR!!!!!!!!1!!!!!1!!!!!!111!!1!!!1!ONE1!!111
you pocky lovers and ur planning and thinking. that's why you guys get nothing done and i win.
chuck norris supports action, not thinking.
