Pretty sad actually. I could understand the possibility that the guy (or anyone else possibly) threatened suicide for attention but shit, people shouldn't even second guess that type of crap and egg him on.
"Some members of his virtual audience encouraged him to do it, others tried to talk him out of it, and some discussed whether he was taking a dose big enough to kill himself, said Wendy Crane, an investigator with the Broward County medical examiner's office.
A computer user who claimed to have watched said that after swallowing some pills, Biggs went to sleep and appeared to be breathing for a few hours while others cracked jokes."
*sigh*
This generation...

This should go to beyond /b/
The pills he OD'd on were for his bipolar disorder; He didnt want attention, he needed some damn help.
By egging him on, those people showed their stupidity.
Wonder if the website he posted the link on to his web-cam was 4chan.
Kinda seems like /b/'s work to egg people on. >_>

If he didn't want attention then he wouldn't go as far as committed suicide on
JUSTIN TV. But anyway, just because someone wants attention, doesn't mean they don't need help. But in truth, people on the internet are pretty jaded and desensitized to people like this-- and what he did WAS calling for attention. From strangers. On the internet. On Justin f*cking TV.
gg, he became an hero.
*sigh* When will people learn suicide is never a viable option at this point in life (unless you know you're terminally ill and will never get better)?

You're probably right, but right now their is a relatively serious discussion right now. Once it's just insults I'll move it.

It's never the thing to do. One should go out kicking and screaming, fighting there inevitable demise.

Well, that's where I disagree. With a person terminally ill, it depends on the person's sense of dignity....

That's debatable. Personally, I'd rather have the plug pulled on me or whatever. But it depends on how you view life.
