I am just curious all of a sudden on this topic and the fact that I just suddenly wanted to chat on a touchy subject. If you are a male, "male" lesbien, "male" gay, or anything regarding to the manly "spectrum", what is the girliest Anime or manga that you have completed watching/ reading? As for the female side of things, what is the manliest Anime or manga that you have completed watching/ reading?
As for me, since I am a male or the "manly spectrum" of the gender. These are some of the girliest Anime and manga that I have actuallly completed watching/ reading:
*Fruits Basket (Yes! I did survive it somehow. Got seriously bored after the second episode but wanted to finish watching it because I dislike not completing something. Oh my god, I seriously do not want to go through with that again... >_<)
*Absolute Boyfriend (Dunno how the heck I finished reading that manga. Probably I got bored while waiting for my regular weekly manga to release.
*Sailor Moon (Oh yeah. But that was a long time ago before I got to the point where I like the manly stuff more. Now, I just cannot stand it...)
*A few more which I sort of forgot.
Now that I have stated mine, what are yours?
Cardcaptor Sakura (Back when it was on some Cable TV channel. don't remember how many years ago.)
Sailor Moon (Same as CCS)
Lucky Star. (This past year for no reason other that just to watch it.)
Fruits basket wins girliest AND most horrifying.
My friends loved it and I refused to watch the entirety. After I had a botched back surgery and could not move, they decided to take advantage of the situation and played it on my TV.
It was all very horrifying, but it was that ONE line .. " What does it become when the snow melts?" that I just could not take it and miraculously gave me the strength to get up and shut it off.
Manliest, Definatley Bastard. God, it would be one the greatest if the perverted-ness weren't damned cheesy.
Gurren Lagann! The manliest anime ever to come into existence!

Okay first, if you're a guy you're supposed to mention the girliest series you've watched. Second, that is an absurd overstatement.
Anyways, the girliest thing I've watched is Honey & Clover

Oh opps...
Well... Fruits basket then, its the girliest
Uh...
FuruBa is hardly girly. There is a lot of masculinity and male issues in the series. Yuki's internal problems, Kyo's internal problems... just to name two of the major themes.
Her mom is a girl gangster, and one of her best friends are as well... but that's so girly right?
You guys pick such HORRIBLE series that you think are "girly"
Cardcaptor Sakura is girly? How so? Because she wears poofy dresses? Brotherly incest is not girly.
Realistically, Hokuto, City Hunter, Ippo, and Baki are extremely manly series.
Gurren Lagann I won't agree with. Why? Because only half the series was masculine. The other half was bitchy whining and crying. And girly Nie time.
As for girly....
...
Gakuen Alice. I love this series to death, and it's amazing, but god damn is this series not girly. Everything about it... even the strong manly gym teacher, to the asshole mean teacher.
Sazae-chan... no not really, but it is pretty girly.
HachiKuro isn't very girly either. Seeing that finding ones self and two of the male characters were rather masculine through out the series...
Unless you're ONLY talking about art... but that's hardly what I think we're talking about.

Peach girl is definitely the girliest anime I've ever watched...it almost pains me...
and I still have to think over my pick for manliest as I have not watched too much brutish anime

Girlest: uhh I guess it would be furuba and clannad after story (it r sad).
Girliest AND Manliest: Jojo's Bizzare Adventure
Never before had I imagined that I would watch epic bone shattering GARest of GAR fights alongside manly group hugs weeping together and Jonathan flinging himself on his Victorian bed sobbing that his friends don't like him anymore because of that big meanie, Dio.
Manliest: Black Lagoon
Girliest: Kashimashi
