Title: Artist alley (again)
Post by: ladyvoid on December 03, 2008, 05:26:11 PM
I'm planning to get a table for fanime for the first time this year, but I'm a bit confused about the seller's permit. Do you have to be 18 to sell in the artist alley? Or do you just have to be 18 to get the permit? I've heard that many people under the age of 18 have sold in the artist alley, but I'm not sure.Is there an age limit? ???

their for anybody who wants to sell. I don't think there's really a age limit.

Then should I have somebody else get me a permit?

Okay... so I can be at a table by myself? without a parent?

The age limit for an AA table is 16. If you are between the ages of 16 and 18, you must have the sellers permit under your parents name. They will be able to help you acquire a permit. You will also need a letter of expressed written consent signed by your legal guardian stating that they assume legal responsibilities for the selling of your artwork at the convention.
