Title: Warhammer 40K
Post by: Nanashi on January 16, 2009, 10:46:28 AM
So, I'm sitting here, painting some Black Templars, and it makes me wonder, who else plays 40K?

I posted a thread like this a year ago, but it's far gone by now.

No, not Dawn of War 2. Warhammer 40K, as in, the table top game.

How many points do you have of each? I may be down for some hot Templar on Templar action.

I'm down. I've got 750 points ready right now, but I could have 1000 (easily) ready by the convention. A friend of mine has got about 1250 points of necrons and the other guy I know has got around 750 points of eldar.

Added togethor I could get over 3000 but my knights could easily play a 2000pt match and Templars may have a hard time reaching 1000pts... I should be getting more initiates soon though

are all you models painted?

They'll find you...
No matter where you hide...
No matter where you run...
They will destroy everything...
Everyone...
Everywhere...

Necrons rule...

nice...
but the only problem is that Black Templars don't hide from a fight

and Grey Knights don't run

I've been slacking a bit (I hate hate hate hate putting on transfers), so most of my army is halfway between painted and a pair of legs with a torso. By con I could have my stuff painted up.

that will look cool, yeah all my templars are finished; transfers and all, but yeah they are pretty annoying to put on because they seem to fall off all the time when you don't add a layer of PVC glue

hello, this is phuc's friend, nick. do u know if anyone who plays or are willing to play apocalypse or better yet, a regular no points limit objective game. also how many points can u guys go up to or are willing to go up to. i can at least go up to 4000 to 4500 or more of dark angels and i have a friend who has 750 points, and counting, of grey knights, so let me know what u guys r willing to play, points-wise.

I play a lot and I know that it is hard enough just to finish a 1,500 point battle in less than 8 hours when you have more than two people... also depending on the size of the field the time we have to play in actual cc would be limited if we play a 72" x 72"

I think though that a 1,500 pt match could be played if we start like right at the beginning of the day and play on a 60" x 60" depending on the number of players
