I know you could last year but I was thinking of getting the tickets/badge for Fanime on Friday the day of the con
and how much will it be then?
I decided to try to get a hotel first and then the badges and I'll be getting two me and my fiancee.
Please tell me if this is confusing

Your question is not confusing, but I'm not certain what the final price for a membership will be and I would not like to give you an incorrect amount. Eric will be here to answer your question. :)
Just remember that pre-registering for your membership will generally be cheaper than the price of a membership at/during the convention.

And you get a cooler badge if you pre-register. I know it's a small thing...but its one of my favorite perks. :-)
Thank you soo much I think I'll try to pre-register since I always plan to go since 2004 when I first went and its all thanks to my Grandpa Bob for he looked it up and took me to the con for the first time, I didn't know what to expect at first but I ended up having the funnest time of my life so I plan to go every year and I always cosplay.
Now my fiancee loves going too I first took him 2005 it was so much fun we have been going together ever since he cosplay too.
sorry for the late reply....stupid LSAT.
It's not confirmed as of yet, but because pre-reg is a little higher this year, expect that the at-con prices may go up too.
rule of thumb...consecutive days? pre-reg is cheaper.
Although if you went friday and monday (donno why) in 2008 it was cheaper....
I'm also planning to get a hotel as soon as I can before there are no more rooms. I hear they are going fast so I'm going to get the hotel first then the tickets.
Thank you for your help I apreciate you three for helping me out. and I still need to buy allot of cosplay for this year but I'm doing that the cheapest way.
Definitely book a hotel as soon as possible. You dont have to be registered to book a hotel through the housing website either, which is a plus. And if plans change, you can always change your reservation up to a week before Fanime.

You don't need to be a FanimeCon member ("pre-registered") in order to book a hotel room through our website, but this might affect your rates when you check out. I know that the hotel staff checks each person that books a room with a list of names that we give them to ensure that only FanimeCon members, staff, etc. are getting the special convention rate.

I should have been more specific. I meant that you could book the hotel before you pre-registered, so if you're not sure if you can actually attend until later in the year, you can still book the hotel and have that off your mind.

Ah, yeah, you can do that. I believe that the list is checked either during or at the end of the convention. I'm not 100% of this procedure, though.
