As per the title. I've read a bit about the series, but i'm still wondering if it's actually worth watching. Wonky animation aside, is this a good show?
Well, I really like it and its really nice.
It starts of as a comedy and you can give a good laugh to it but at some point, it get to be a little dramatic which you would never expect it to be >.< But in and all, you should give it a go.
Definitely worth it, one of the better anime's of the season in my opinion.
IMO, when this series hits its stride in ep. 10+, it gets surprisingly good. Much better than you'd expect from another Kugimiya Rie series. What keeps it interesting is the characters. Every one of them has more depth than first meets the eye. They react in more "human" ways than you usually expect to see in your average series.
I didn't want to like this show, as it's just another Kugimiya Rie show. I ended up liking it quite a bit. Minorin is probably my favoritest character in a long time now.
The characters are all actually really well done, and the plot itself evolves into a lot more than the basic principles it's based on. It starts off as a simple girl A like boy A. Boy B likes girl B. Girl A and Girl B are friends, Boy A and Boy B are friends. So Girl A and Boy B join forces.
But it stops being just that, and their lives really open up. You really learn what kind of character each person is, what drives them and how they act, and why they act how they do.
It's really a good show. Ami and Minorin both show the most realistic points of people, in two very opposite and different ways. It's strange how different they are, but how both of them are the realist people.

Have to agree with Tsubasa and Pyron. I like ToraDora! a lot. The writing is just... so good. It switches from being comically over-the-top to being one of the most believable series (especially in character development) I've seen. Minori was my favorite character from the start, but she really showed how deep she was during the villa arc. The animation is actually not that wonky - a little stylized, I guess, but consistently quite good.
This is an interesting case, because I like the characters in more than just a, "They look cute, they do cool things, they have interesting quirks" kind of way - I feel like I can really relate to them. Not just Taiga and Ryuuji, either, but all 5 main cast members.
Totally worth watching.
Pyron pretty much copied my opinion, pft. But yes, I will have to strongly agree that the character are VERY nicely designed. And to add, even the background characters are interesting (Like Yacchan. \o/)
Ryuuji, Minori, Ami are all surprisingly very realistic and in-depth characters. Some people fail to see why Minori is realistic, but she is, especially in the high school scene.

I agree that all the characters are interesting and have quite a depth to them. They all kind of grow on you... XD;
It's a good anime to watch I like the five main characters they are very interesting.
