Title: What is a "Flip Mino"?
Post by: XpHoBiaX on March 05, 2009, 01:37:15 AM
And does anyone really use this thing?
Is it like a camera?
Is it even good?
I just wanted to know...

I'm not sure how good it is, but it's one of those small, cheap digital camcorders that have been popping up recently and are designed to take videos of YouTube quality.  In fact, they can be set to automatically upload the videos directly to YouTube (or a few other online video sites).

I've played with one. Not the best video ever (it IS only $100-200) but good enough for YouTube and the like.

ooooh Okay. I couldn't load the description when I was using my CafePress account. I thought it was just a camera. So I am taking it is only for vids then.

The ones put out by Kodak are capable of HD quality, IIRC.

I guess that is pretty cool if you're just interested in taking vids. I am more of a camera person. Although vids would be cool for when I am tattooing. YouTube! lol
