Title: It's like a graveyard of things I want to eat
Post by: rude32 on March 06, 2009, 10:09:08 PM
So I came across this link while on collegehumor.com
http://www.gunaxin.com/a-tribute-to-discontinued-cereals/11570/5
and it got me thinking;
What was your favorite food item that is now discontinued?
It could be anything: DNL, Josta, Squeeze-it, Ghostbusters cereal.

I liked the Rodeo Burgers from Burger King. They were for the movie "Small Soldiers" apparently.

I miss Pepsi Blue.  But what I REALLY miss is Mystic Mint cookies.  Those were the absolute best cookies EVER.  I have not found anything half as good.

That Rainbow Brite cereal looks like it could have been a precursor to Fruit Loops. XD;

I think I had a Slice soda once. XD;
Citra was good... I didn't realize it was discontinued. XD;

I kind of want to try that Hubba Bubba drink and the Life Savers one. XD;
I hated Pepsi Blue. >.>;

As for discontinued food I miss... I remember these cookies filled with chocolate. I think they were by that company with the elves. I had them once as a child and they disappeared like they didn't exist. D: They were delicious.

But ah the things I would have loved to have been able to say I tried. XD

i remember Pepsi Blue in the vending machines at high school. it was good, but i dont miss it. Slice, on the other hand, whenever we went camping with Legends, we always had a cooler of Slice.

oh yeah, Legends is Legends of the American West. my family used to do re-enactments of old west shootouts, sometimes we did comedy skits.

Is that the one that had the commercial with Darius Rucker from Hootie and the Blowfish singing the theme?

I miss the Taquitoes at Jack in the Box.  I could buy 5 taquitoes, sour cream and a medium soda for exactly 5 dollars.  They were tastey little suckers too.

They don't have smacks anymore? :'( It's been a while since I've been to that side of the cereal isle. Sprite remixes were awesome.

The Pepsi Blue scarred me. It looked like it could kill. The sprite Remixes on the other hand...

It sad to realize some of them are gone. They drift away so quietly...
