Post by: RadioactiveKitty on March 16, 2009, 07:36:43 PM
so i was wondering this is my third year of Fanime, yet i still require the help of others.

later on at night i will be coming to Fanime as a club kid. mainly for the rave, im not going to like be too wronchy or anything as far as my outfit goes, but like will wearing no shirt EXCEPT for a net shirt get me kicked out of the Con? I WOULD PREFER A MODERATOR ANSWER THIS!
but if someone happens to know more than I do please go on ahead and answer

As long as you wear something UNDER the net shirt, it should be fine.

You should remember that this is a fairly family-friendly convention. o:

You have to remember that Fanime is a family-oriented convention for fans of anime (and Japanese culture in a way) at its core.  The 'rave' thing that they host at night is late-night but it is still part of Fanime's events and thus attendees need to abide by the rules of the convention and facilities.  If unsure, check up on the Fanime site for the rules posted as well as the general cosplay rules or even shoot them an E-Mail if you really want to be sure.

If your attire does not violate the laws for the City of San Jose, State of California or any Federal laws (in regards to public exposure, decency, etc) you should be fine. However, if enough people complain or find you attire offensive don't be surprised if you're asked to go change.
