TO BE CONTINUED.... on screen in the new Star Trek movie.
I must say, I am excited about the movie. I am not much of a Star Trek fan, only watching it from time to time. I was really into Voyager back when I was 10 though. But this movie looks like it is going to be fantastic.
Even my friend who dislikes Star Trek is looking forward to the movie.
Reading that totally blew my mind
WHO WANTS TO WATCH IT WITH ME BEFORE FANIME?
sorry, please delete this post.
i can wait for this. really. it just doesnt feel like Star Trek.. sorry, i wont be watching it in the theatre.
Don't care to see it. J.J. Abrams version will=Epic Fail.

I don't think that works in the Star Trek Universe.

Neither does J.J. Abrahms.
If any Trekkies try to cause some trouble, just give them the Vulcan Neck Pinch. Sure, it may not actually work, but they'll go along with it just to convince themselves it does. Or pull out a lightsaber and insist you deflect all the phaser blasts.
Ah, Star Trek vs Star Wars. Their battle will never cease.
But at any rate, I'm going to see the movie. I'll withhold all judgements on how it may turn out until I've actually seen it, but once I have, you can expect I'll have a review of it written soon.
Watching it Thursday night. Glad they're having more (earlier) shows than just at midnight (12:01am.) :)
My theater already showed it during a GM conference last week, and I was able to watch a few minutes of it (like, the bar fight where Kirk gets his @$$ kicked..)
ohhhh snap I got into a free screening in IMAX last night! it was awesome...

Doubt it.
Well, I just saw the movie. It was incredible. I, too, held my doubts as to whether or not it would be good or just an explosion-filled excuse with the Star Trek name, but it was made of plenty of epic win.

I saw it too, and I agree, it truly was incredible, and I'm normally not that big of a Trek fan.
I had my doubts about this movie...and I did find it hard to see new actors playing these old iconic characters...but overall I was very happy with the movie and I really enjoyed it.
I saw the movie on monday with 2 of my friends and I love it.
